I guess I hit a nerve! Trainers/Clubs should be accountable. Who said there would be a failing grade. That's your assumption.

It could be anonymous and you can grade each parameter 1 to 5. Guess what......if the grade is constantly 1 and 2, maybe then the club could ask why and work with that trainer. If the grade is consistently 4 and 5, maybe that trainer can be a mentor or get a raise. It's not about someone verbally abusing or trash talking, it's about ACCOUNTABILITY and striving for the best environment for the players. Notice I'm not talking about playing time, or parents upset their kid is on defense and not offense. I'm talking about tangible parameters that can be graded. The parameters can be what an ordinary person could easily do without any training. Timeliness, Availability, provides constructive feedback, etc. The players deserve it and with the parent expectation to pay and travel, that's the least that can be put in place. Most families would commit to the club, trainer if they were treated with dignity and respect. That's free! Parents should be part of the solution, not the problem!

Parents would be ok if kids were treated with the respect they deserve.

Your exactly the parent I was discussing with the above post. It is always about the parents. The trainers/clubs are already accountable because we are the consumer. If your not happy with the trainer, the coach, the DOC, the team players, then go to another club. It’s that simple. Why have a parent grade trainers? What is the purpose, what is your agenda for giving a trainer a failing grade? Who are you to make judgement as an anonymous person. If your justification is you pay enough then that is a blah, blah, blah answer. I understand how tired you are hearing about crazy parents. I have the solution, stop listening to yourself.

I'm not sure if it's crazy parents or the fact that most parents have blinders on when their child is playing or practicing. Parents should be true to themselves and child if they see their son/daughter are not at the same level as others. They don't have to be the best but for Christ sake, at least know how to kick a ball properly, stop a ball, pass to your own player or with a purpose.. If your little player is one who ALWAYS is on the ground, teach them balance!!!Don't just "kick the ball up"!!

Yes, most parents have blinders on but would appreciate and welcome honest feedback. No BS, mind games, yelling, screaming. Good old fashion HONEST feedback. Again, that's part of the Accountability.
