The board at LGN are clueless to how Timmy boy has held their club back. Timmy has amazing power at that club...produced ziltch!!

LGN players need to look toward Stony Brook, and Surf. There will be some news coming out I'm told.

I wonder if surf is going to charge me for each blade of grass on the Field. my kids play for lgn good teams but. every minute there is a fee tournament, tournament training ,tournament game, tournament room and board. Home game fee away game fee and regular training fee2 to3 training days of keep away. Registration, turf space ,indoor space. I must check out Surf but would need more info on fees. I am over whelmed with the money I spend in this club

My daughter plays for Surf. We had one upfront fee and were responsible to buy the uniform kit. When we do travel (to Delco or other tourneys), we will be responsible for paying for our hotel room. Other than that, no additional costs.

Our upfront costs have included:

All tournament fees
All league fees
All referee fees
All coaching fees
Indoor facilities for the winter months
Training at least two times per week for 75 minutes per session

Why don't u google NY Surf and get their phon number or email and call them. That is what is in the FAQ. Tryouts in June could very well mean some training in the summer.

Hey guys, would anyone have any updates on the Massapequa SC decisions or what's happening. I'm a parent of lower aged kids in the club and wondering if I should keep them there. One kid is decent u9, loves to play, is very competitive and wants to get better. The other is u7 and just likes playing, not very competitive.

The Massapequa website says they have 36 teams playing in the LIJSL. If you count the teams on the schedule I think it is only 30. It doesn't look like they have added more teams in fact maybe they could have lost? Competitive times as the sport is contracting a bit

Their 2003 NPL boys team EDP 1 North are no longer listed as part of this group. They just show 4 crossover games. Have they left EDP as well?

Crossover games are a "semi" league you play to qualify to play ENY State Cup. Playing in 2 leagues (NPL and EDP) are too many games so the crossover gives you a better option.
