Club: East Rockaway DirectionsDIRECTIONS TO LYNBROOK/E. ROCKAWAY FIELDS Lynbrook South Middle School (Field #1) Directions from Southern State from the east: Take Southern State West to Exit 19S, Peninsula Boulevard. From the ramp, make a right (going south) and proceed approximately 2.3 miles to Ocean Avenue. Make a left turn on Ocean Avenue and proceed approximately 4/10 miles to Sunrise Highway. Make a right on Sunrise Highway and proceed approximately 7/10 miles (5 Traffic Lights) to Atlantic Avenue. Make a left on Atlantic Avenue and proceed 1/10 miles and bear right to Union Avenue. (NOTE: Lynbrook High School is located on your immediate right) Your will proceed on Union Avenue for approximately 7/10 miles to the Lynbrook South Middle School which is located on your right. Directions from Southern State from the west: Take Southern State East to Exit 15, Corona Avenue/Franklin Avenue. From ramp, make a right on Corona Avenue. Take Corona Avenue 3/10 of a mile to Rockaway Parkway, and make a left. Continue on Rockaway Parkway for 2.2 miles to Peninsula Blvd. (NOTE: When you crossover Merrick Road, Rockaway Parkway becomes Rockaway Avenue.) From the intersection of Rockaway Avenue and Peninsula Blvd., cross Peninsula Boulevard and continue straight ahead to Prospect Avenue. (DO NOT BEAR RIGHT at Bank of New York/King Kullen.) Take Prospect Avenue for 6/10 of a mile to Union Avenue. Make a left on Union Avenue and proceed 1/10 mile to the Lynbrook South Middle School which is located on the left.
Greis Park (Field # 2 & 2A) Southern State from the East: Take Southern State to Exit 19S, Peninsula Boulevard. From the ramp, make a right (going south) and proceed approximately 3 1/4 miles to Merrick Road, and make a right turn on to Merrick Road. Proceed approximately 1/2 mile (immediately after the Cadillac Dealership, Jeep Dealership and Bob's Bikes, located on your right side) and make a left on Wilbur Street. Continue on Wilbur Street directly into parking lot. Southern State from the West: Take Southern State to Exit 17S, Hempstead Avenue. From the ramp, make a right (going south) and immediately bear left at the fork for Ocean Avenue. Proceed on Ocean Avenue for approximately 1 1/4 miles to corner of Ocean Avenue and Peninsula Boulevard. Make a right turn on Peninsula Boulevard, and proceed 9/10 of a mile to Merrick Road. Make a right turn on to Merrick Road. Proceed approximately 1/2 mile (immediately after the Cadillac Dealership, Jeep Dealership and Bob's Bikes, located on your right side) and make a left on Wilbur Street. Lynbrook North Middle School (Field #3) Southern State from the East: Take Southern State to Exit 19S, Peninsula Boulevard. From the ramp, make a right (going south) and proceed approximately 3 1/4 miles to Merrick Road, and make a right turn on to Merrick Road. Proceed about three traffic light, school on right hand side, parking lot on left side of school. Southern State from the West: Take Southern State to Exit 17S, Hempstead Avenue. From the ramp, make a right (going south) and immediately bear left at the fork for Ocean Avenue. Proceed on Ocean Avenue for approximately 1 1/4 miles to corner of Ocean Avenue and Peninsula Boulevard. Make a right turn on Peninsula Boulevard, and proceed 9/10 of a mile to Merrick Road. Make a right turn on to Merrick Road. Proceed about three traffic light, school on right hand side, parking lot on left side of school.
Ocean Ave (Field # 4) Southern State from the East: Take Southern State West to Exit 19S, Peninsula Boulevard. Proceed south on Peninsula Boulevard for approximately 2.3 miles to Ocean Avenue. Make a right turn on Ocean Avenue and proceed 3/10 of a mile to Lynbrook Junior Soccer Field, which is located on your right; on the corner of Ocean Avenue and Lakeview Avenue. Southern State from the West: Take Southern State East to Exit 17S, Hempstead Avenue. From the ramp, make a right (going south) and immediately bear left at the fork and continue on Ocean Avenue for approximately 1 mile to the corner of Ocean Avenue and Lakeview Avenue. Field will be located on your far left corner, just past the Malverne H.S.
Bay Park (Field #5) Southern State from the East: Take Southern State Parkway West to Exit 19 South, Peninsula Boulevard. Continue approximately 2.3 miles to Ocean Avenue. Make a left on Ocean Avenue and proceed approximately 1.5 miles. Cross Atlantic Avenue (Wendy's Restaurant on corner) and proceed 1/10 of a mile and make the first left on Front Street (East Rockaway Fire Dept. on corner). At first stop sign make a right on Althouse Avenue. Proceed on Althouse Avenue to 1st Avenue. Make a left on 1st Avenue and proceed to Nassau County Bay Park. Field will be on your left after the playground area. Southern State Parkway from the West: Take Southern State East to Exit 17S, Hempstead Avenue. From ramp, make a right and immediately bear left at fork, and proceed on Ocean Avenue. Continue approximately 2 3/4 miles to Atlantic Avenue.
