If Bayport had any sportsmanship or class, they would not of said a peep. You can't justify poor sportsmanship with poor sportsmanship...

Oh for the love of god please don't say they are back upped by the allstars. MOST of the players come other you get teams and few from allstars. They are not the same as us in any way and bayport coaches and hopefully parents know well that the allstars and bayport get along well. So please don't mix us or compare us in away way.

Keep the actions of the Latin boys separate for who is the real blame is the obnoxious coaches and parents.

Thank you.

How about when the BP Coach screamed out "THAT"S BULLSH.......REF" Trainer is a good guy, Coach is a JA. It is one thing for the kids to start singing but when the mother on the BP team went to the coaches sideline and joined in, that was classless. As were the comments the BP coach made to his team during the game saying "Guys they are playing like girls, you can't let girls beat you" Yeah there were othere people there to and as the saying goes...Two wrongs don't make a right, both groups conducted themselves terribly. MAYBE just maybe if they had a quality referee it would have never gotten to that point but that ref was horrible. COACHES need to maintain more respectability which they absolutely didn't. Takes 2 to tango. BP team plays "quality" Soccer, the trainer is a "Quality" guy but the coach should be ashamed of himself for acting the way he does. Those are the facts. Both groups should be ashamed

I saw a good part of the game and have no horse in this race. The actions of both teams coaches was deplorable. Witnessed one coach put an opposing kid in a headlock and the other coach try to punch the opposing coach. That being said, the Latin Boys were the instigators here. They spent the portion of the game that I saw pushing and cursing at the BP kids. One LB kid gave a open hand to the face of a BP kid. He received a red card (the BP kid got a yellow for attempting to retaliate). The kid that got the red card reappeared later on. The ref let it go. Unfortunately, I can't totally blame it on the kids. Seems about 4 LB parents were on the sideline stirring the kids up. They were chanting in Spanish to "Push the kids down." Do they not think that others speak the same language. Obviously the ref didn't...he was totally overmatched. The tourney officials should be a little more assertive next time. For anyone to blame this display on the "passion the boys have for soccer" is totally ridiculous. Next time they should show more respect for the game (they can start with leaving their parents home.)

Not totally disagreeing with you but for someone without a horse in the race why is it you only tell one side of the story ? Seems very suspect. What about the extremely fat BP parent going out of his way to dance in front of the LB parents ? LB parents danced & cheered in place. Sure the BP were probably tired of hearing it but their reaction was childish as well. Or the BP coach cursing ? YOU had to have heard that because you could have heard it if you were standing at the Jones Beach Tower he screamed it so loud. TELL THE WHOLE STORY horseless guy. Adversity reveals character and the BP Coach showed he is a Character. I am NOT putting full blame on him be any means just providing other details that horseless guy choose to leave out, what I am saying is the BP Coach, being a carded coach, needs to be above that nonsense especially calling the other players girls during the game.

[qHow can they push elmont down to d-3. They should be d-1 or d-2 at the minimum. This is a joke. Elmont is going to crush every team in d3. Lijsl is becoming a farce. uote=Anonymous]Division 1 looks right other than Hauppauge, but Division 2 is ridiculous as is Division 3. Did they pick the teams out of a hat? Elmont in D3? NPT Celtic, Albuttsun B and Oceanside in D2 over Elmont. Can't even say there will be blowouts in D2 because the better teams are in D3. [/quote]

Rvd belongs in d-3. They were a pretty good team last season. Unless the club requested to be bumped down because half the kids left? Did they all end up going to hota?

Is the floral park/rvc combo team going to be that good? No way better than elmont. uote=Anonymous]It helps to pick up the best players from another N1 team. I am sure that was taken into account. Trust me, they will be an excellent team and will move to D1 within a season.

This LIJ and the coordinator are obviosuly corrupt.
The Suffolk side is just as bad.

I did not see the b teams for east meadow and massapequa listed in the divisions. Did I miss something or are they completely out of lijsl?

Hard to say. If the game were 9 v. 9 then I would say adding a few very good players helps. But 11 v. 11 is a completely different animal. The Elmont thing is ridiculous, and there is no team in D-2 that deserves to be there ahead of Elmont
