Just saw the LIJSL applications, only 6 of the 20 teams from S1 & N1 are playing LIJ!!!

And what 6 teams are playing LIJSL? If this is true where are the others going?

NPL & RPL

If all U11 teams left to go to NPL that is news, because it is not happening. If anything only the top D1 or D2 teams are going to move to that league.

You don't get it, teams do not go to NPL, entire clubs go to NPL with one team in each age group so one team in U-12 cannot go to NPL unless their clubs can deliver a team in each age group.

Team have folded/merged and some team have gone to NPL, the teams that have gone to NPL are one of the NHB teams, presumably HBC Crush. Brentwood Arsenal and Massapequa. Crush and Arsenal would have been in D1. Massapequa probably D2 or 3.

I would think that no team will go exclusively with RPL but there will be many team with will play RPL and LIJSL just as they did last Spring and before that such as Uniondale, Bellmore, Bayport, Elmont, HBC non-Crush).

Personally I think having these kids playing league games on Saturday and Sunday plus having them play State Cup, NY Cup is madness, these kids need one game a week with Cup games sprinked in. More games are not what 11 and 12 year olds kids need.

Then all the top teams would have to practice a minimum of 4 -5 times a week sometimes more as they all play in multiple competitions !!! Doesn't make sence unless you're saying these teams should only play once a week, no more cup games, no more tournaments and no second league.

That is the point. Doing second leagues and too many tournaments, cup games, etc harms development.

You folks are very funny. More games = more practices? You must be a trainer counting all the additional fees. Another point is are we talking a team of 10 year olds with more energy than they know what to do with or are you referring to the U85 team of the the LIJSL Executive Bunch?
