Is it a good idea to play this tournament? we're not entered, just seems with everything that is going on, asking people to gas their cars (if your lucky enough to) and travel to upstate seems crazy. How do the parents feel about this that are entered? Very Curious.

I thought the girls were just cancelled for this weekend.

I am sure that you understand the horrific nature of the storm.

The boys weekend was scheduled for next week. I am sure that everyone will get their games in. PLEASE be patient and wait for further notice.

Also, please understand that all the Bubbles on the Island that we checked with have damage or are downed. WARNING: so if these Bubble owners are trying to get back into business, BOTN is concerned, based on past history that they take short cuts. IT IS OUR OPINION THAT THE TOWN BUILDING DEPT. NEEDS TO SIGN OFF ON ALL REPAIRS AND REBUILDS. COACHES AND PARENTS SHOULD DEMAND DOCUMENTATION BEFORE FORKING OVER ANY MONEY FOR ANY BUBBLE LEAGUE OR TOURNAMENT THAT THE FACILITY HAS PASSED THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT BUILDING CODES AND THAT THE BUBBLE HAS PAPER WORK TO BACK IT UP.

Please keep in mind, it is your child and probably you that will be in the Bubble. There are also many indoor facilities that permanent buildings and may have suffered water damage. Check them out in person before signing up is our advice.

We know that Farmingdale has suffered damage and history of being up to code and having a c/o is not something the owner (Kaz) is known for. Last year they operated without a certificate of occupancy, and the morons at ENYYSA bragged about sanctioning the facility!! BEWARE of Farmingdale. BEWARE of ENYYSA sanctioning of facilities as they do not do their due diligence...Do not translate the sanctioning of an indoor facility by ENYYSA to mean that the facility is up to code or that you are insured for the indoor league you are playing in. ENYYSA does not sanction any indoor league.

Coleman Country Day Camp Bubble was knocked down. We will keep you in the loop, but expect that Bubble to be back up by Thanksgiving with Town of Hempstead approval. The EMSC and the OUSC are on the case.

Lindenhurst Bubble based on reports to BOTN seems damaged. One email says it is down. Make sure to get an up-to-date assessment of the facility.

With High School sectionals games getting pushed back. There might be more players that will have to pick either the showcase or their high school team game.
