Anonymous Unregistered	BOTN.com If you were a Spring U-11 team that will be U-12 this fall, you can only register if you were in Division 3 or lower. Teams in Division 2 or higher register in January and only play in the Spring.

Anonymous Unregistered	Here is the info Arch Capital Group Cup 2013 Registration opens in 4 days REGISTRATION will be open for the U10, U11 and U12 (full sided 11 v 11) Arch Capital Group Cup from July15, 2012 until August 15, 2012. REGISTRATION will be open for the U13 to U16 Arch Capital Group Cup from Nov. 1, 2012 to Jan. 3, 2013. Please note that U10 and U11's are playing 8 v 8 with a maximum roster size of 18 ENTRY IN THE ARCH CAPITAL GROUP CHALLENGE CUP IS RESTRICTED EXCEPT FOR THE U10 AND U11 AGE GROUPS. Divisions of play in the previous Spring Season shall determine eligibility. Leagues having five (5) or more divisions in the age bracket, first and second division teams are not eligible. Leagues having two (2) but less than five (5) divisions in the age bracket, first division teams are not eligible. Leagues having only one (1) division in the age bracket, may determine that teams finishing in the bottom half of their league play, may be eligible for the Arch Capital Group Cup. New teams may enter the Arch Capital Group Cup provided that their current or proposed division (ie: Fall or Spring) meets the above guidelines. A team is considered a new team only when less than nine (9) players were rostered to the previous years team. Larry can tell us if a U-11 division 2 team from this past Spring can register and play in the State Cup in the Fall as a U-12 team. Any help would be appreciated.

Read what you quoted from the ENY rules. It appears that a D2 team can not play in the Challenge Cup, so it looks like you have to wait until the Spring OR you can play in the NY Cup USCS State Cup starting this Fall.
