Sounds like Big Parent Egos got in the way!! Like the kids wake up and decided this was the wrong team and time to move on? Crazy just Crazy.

The state player that went to the Pride was cut this year however her father (ODP Coach) begged and called in favors for them to keep her. They are good players but they will not dramatically effect the Farmingdale team. Lets hope it all work out for them.
JG is not invovled with the Farmingdale team if that was the case, none of the Blast would have moved.

what league will this team play in? are they considered new or Brentwood Blast moved? The term "State Player" means nothing. The State team would get crushed by most of the Premier teams.
There's one big time player from DH. I'd be surprised if she joined this group (maybe she went to EM). This team based on past results looks like a good middle of the pack NERP and middle to lower bracket at tournaments team.

The national player went to farmingdale. I heard other top players are also going to join in the near future to make it complete.

OOOHH the "national player". It's really amazing how many top players are out there looking for teams. And they are really attracted to new teams that have no ranking or league to play in and can't get into top brackets at tournaments. That way they can continue to go unnoticed by colleges until the end of their Junior year in HS

Not everyone is looking for the big college scholarship. Believe it or not some play at this level because they can, and because they thrive on the competition. My daughter may be looking at a full ACADEMIC scholarship, how about yours?

I guess your daughter didn't get her brains from you. Read what was written. Nobody said anything about a scholarship. 90% (maybe more who knows)of the college athletes playing soccer are not on scholarship however for MANY soccer helped them get into a school be it D1, D2 or D3. I believe if your daughter is going into 10th grade and has interest in playing at the next level, Spring 2013(the U15 Premier soccer season) is a good time to start the process and be seen. The only way is to be on the right team at the right tournaments. BTW, best of luck with the academic scholarship. Way more of those than soccer.

The Dix Hills soccer club president would not let the parents get rid of the idiot daddy coach. There was no alternative, the daddy coach has been paying off the DHSC for years and his past trainers also just to keep his daughter on the field. The team had to make this move.
If the DHSC would have listened the the parents constant complaints about this jerk, none of this would have happened, they instead turned a deaf ear.
Now the daddy coach will try and get his way with Slick. NOT

Farm does not have a "national player". I heard she went to the camp but is not in the pool. Big difference from being a national player/ pool player/ and invited to a camp.
