Better, also note HBC could move up to fifth spot with others moving down

HBC and Albertson are the two toughest teams to rank right now. Both are playing below their capabilities.

Moving Silver Premier Fury down after their great PDA showing and moving Smithtown up after a loss is not something I could justify although I do understand why you would.

Don't forget the Pat's looked as bad at PDA as did Smithtown.

Only World Class, East Meadow and Silver Premier Fury showed well at PDA.

One year to go and with ECNL, Region 1, NERP, NPL and all this other stuff...

Lets just enjoy the last year, get the kids who want to play in college into a school and who cares about rankings, they will never all play each other, pointless to have this conversation.

I am not sure why it is pointless.

Isn't striving to be #1 and being recognized for it what sports is about? Isn't a ranking a barometer of this?

Not sure what you mean by, "they will never all play each other"??
These teams have played each other for years.

Rankings are part of the fun as I see it. Admittedly the higher you are ranked the more you are apt to enjoy it.

Both with high profile, well paid coaches. To what do you attribute the disappointing performance?

Some teams are more active then others. Lets face facts, Albertson and ISA are both very active in this process. That's why parents sent there daughters to these programs. They believe these programs would help get them into a college they probably won't have gotten into. Good for them. Lots of drama and heart ache to get there as we all know. The other teams are committing players but not at the same rate. Many reasons why. These programs are set up differently. Doesn't make them anything less. The girls are just as good soccer players. If your daughter is doing well academically, it doesn't matter who she is playing for. None of these girls are going to be professorial soccer players. Except maybe the one from the soccer family from Massapequa. Its important that what ever program you were a part of, your daughter had a great experience and she got out of it what she was hoping for. Is one program better then the other, all depends on your point of view. Enjoy the last year, then figure out what your going to do when its over. Twelve months left and counting.
