WI with Plus 7 with 7 wins is not all that impressive. Sounds like they got a lot of good bounces this season. Did not think they were that strong of a team. NHP does have some finishers tho, clearly indicated by their plus 15.

Top Six finishers in the Division can all beat each other on any day. There is no team that is clearly better, they are all off playing premier at this point.

Can't have it both ways. If you feel WI got lucky bounces, NHP must have gotten some bad bounces...fact is no one else was better than +2 most were minus some in double figures..in soccer anything can happen in 1 game, over the whole season those 2 were clearly the best

Not saying I want it both ways, just saying that to end up with a 7-2 record with a Plus 7 Goal differential is by no means dominating. NHP probably did get some bad bounces but they also had a 5 3+ goal wins. BTW NPT was +3.... POB & NPT scored as many goals as WI, and CSH only scored one less.. EM only gave up one more than both WI and NHP..

Your ruining your own argument, you say the teams are equal ,then you say NHP had 5 wins by more than 3 goals, isn't that a sign that they might not all be equal. NPT and EM who you cite as being the equal of WI and NHP were the 2 of the teams NHP beat by more than 3 goals.
You have a point on any given day but overall as Bill Parcells said "you are what your record says you are"

If +7 isn't impressive, what's to like about +2 or+3 or -10 or -11...your logic is contradictory

I thought POB would have finished higher considering they have taken top players, that's all.

Well now we get you're a POB parent who is shocked that your girls are not as good as you thought. Why didn't you just say so instead of denigrating the 1st and 2nd, for that matter ,place teams

If POB had finished first, let me guess, you'd be on here talking about going Premier...goal differential would have been meaningless...and all would be right with the world.
Like or dislike WI and NHP but neither has said a word about where they finished or where they are going...no bragging or complaining

West islip is a good team. We played them and they know how to pass ball around. Not a kick and run team and might need a goal scorer .

do you really think this is a POB parent? Don't forget that there is a hater out there who loves to stir the pot regarding POB. POB was picked by some to finish at the bottom of the division. We surprised some people and that brings out the negative comments. Enjoy the summer and we'll see what happens in the fall.
