We have played WI many times. The parents seemed fine no different from the other crazy parents on the sidelines. I do remember playing them at the POB fields and I was standing right behind the coach because the fields are back to back. The way she was talking to the girls was very nasty. The girls actually looked afraid of her. She was criticizing players on the field and was screaming out derogatory things at the girls. Last year when we played them it seemed the girls were screaming back at her. No axe to grind. Just stating what I heard .

The players take their cue from the coach. If she is rude and nasty with a potty mouth, the players will bring that to the field. If you are OK with your daughter becoming trash then that is your choice. I want my 14-15 year old daughter to be proud of herself after a game, that she had sportsmanship, acting like a lady and had class, as well as played her best. As parents these are the choices we make.

The coach from the west islip does not talk nasty to her players. She has never talked down to them or never talked bad to them. She never says anything but tell them where to go and where to play ball push up etc. Get your story straight .she has never put a girl down her players. Not like the rest of the these trainers. Now that is a funny one. West islip coach has not said much this year because she had surgery and was not able to talk much. So get your story correct. pob your coaches and trainer where screaming. At that game and West islip coaches were not yelling. Because they were winning. Yes she tells girls to push up etc but will never scream bad things to anyone . E

i am a parenting that is not from west islip. I have seen her. Coach and she has not ever said anything nasty, or yelling at kids. First of all the kids are not scared of her and she still has all the same players from years ago, not like any other teams get in kids face and tell them that they did bad job. Go west islip good luck this year.

please re-read the post. they claim to have been at the POB travel fields and heard your coach. The POB WI game as at WI this season so they are not talking about that game.
