So we move to week 9. Big game for all the marbles going down in WI next week to decide SM .. Any thoughts ??

All I will say is, some very good soccer lies ahead... I wish every team the the best of luck.

If we assume Elmont will beat Jericho and Bethpage (pretty safe assumption), NM is fairly straight forward: Only 3 teams in contention for first (Elmont with 21 pts, Syosset and Levittown with 19 each). Elmont wins the division outright with a win against Lev. Lev is assured of at least a tie for first with a win against Elmont. Lev wins the division outright with 2 wins, or a win against Syosset and draw against Elmont. Syosset can only finish tied for first - they need to beat Lev, and have Lev win or draw against Elmont. I think that's right, anyway.

SM is even more straight forward: Winner of WI v Cosmos takes it.

Cosmos will shut out West Islip on Saturday. The boys are getting better every week. No stopping them now!
