To play with their friends? To play soccer for fun instead of acting like its a career? To not be playing soccer 6 days a week and going out of state every other weekend?

And for that matter, many of their former teams would be d1 quality if 2 of their "stars" returned.

Whats wrong with playing soccer 6 days a week ? Its not like when I was kid and played 6 days a week. We were outside. These kids have indoor places to train.

"Whats wrong with playing soccer 6 days a week ?" - The fact that you have to ask why 10 and 11 year old girls should have a life outside soccer is disturbing.

Quite a few are staying together. Others are already scrambling, going and inquiring about try-outs. They will never be the team they once were.

Yes, Kings Park Soccer Club has a lot to offer.

1-terrible fields
2-daddy coaches
3-ugly uniforms

HAHA GOTCHA !

I remember SHA's recruiting ad last summer, "Soccer, Soccer, Soccer, 24/7", so only six days a week soccer is a let down for the kids... they just want to play.

I think the questions are which teams have a B team to draw from? Will some attract players based soley on their record? Will those who left team A to go to team B be looking for team C in yet another town? Will any parents realize the insanity of it? Some teams may not be able to attract players and be forced to fold due to numbers. Some good (now)teams will not adjust well to the larger format....and boy will those parents be in for a surprise.(and I'm sure the coaches will get an ear full) And then some teams have been preparing for the big field since last Fall and are already set with numbers, happy players, and happy parents.......
