Now the team begins to struggle a bit, which is necessary for the growth of any team and its players, and suddenly they consider Cordt to be a bad influence on their exceptional children.

WTF are you talking about? You obviosly have no clue so try writing about your team. Oh yea nobody gives a crap about your team... sorry, continue.

Actually, I think the post knows exactly what he is talking about. Those parents should be ashamed of themselves for allowing Cordt to carry on with their kids as long as he did. Cordt Weinstein is one of the too many cancer coaches and trainers on Long Island. It is just that simple. Like with Bart Nason, the DHSC is much better off without him in their ranks.

First of all where in the post does it say anything about the parents should be ashamed of themselves? With the exception of "They knew exactly what was going on all of these years" there is nothing accurate about that post.

perspective: People do not challenge authority. Atrocities happen daily - worldwide - because most people are scared. Weinstein held a rein of fear, as many others have done and will do. Most people are pure wimps.

DHE had a great season. Finishing in 4th place, region 1, is fantastic and that isn't why he was finally overthrown. He crossed someone who had more power than him, that person overtook him. It couldn't happen earlier because no one felt that kind of power. TWO people tried for JRR - a union - they together hasd enough power to make a move. It couldn't have happened earlier because there was no strong, organized faction.

Ok. This is beyond pathetic. What is Cordt Weinstein? A Ugandan warlord? Hitler? Rev. Jim Jones? Charles Manson?

Please.

If what you are saying is accurate, that the DH parents were too scared to stand up to the man who was openly abusive to their children, then I have neither sympathy nor respect for them.

So let them win their games.

Let them polish their trophies.

And let them boast all they want about their sons' achievements.

Nothing will compensate them for their inability to do the right thing by their children.

I think every year in youth soccer you see more and more. The Refs and Leagues need to step in ( send a few Home) do something before a fatality.

Cw is in a class by himself, to try and group him with anyone is a disservice to the term a$$hole.
As far as seeing more and more thug ball I don't think you would know a legit tackle from a mugging. watch a real game, it is a contact sport. This is Not a comentary on dh play, but its not u10 Anymore. Some of these kids are big and physical.
I hear parents yelling every weekend because little johnie went down hard. Just because he went down or there was contact, its not a foul. This may sound funny to some people but many kids these days don't know how to fall either.
Lastly, of all the U14 teams, smithtown u14 is your best example of thugs after dh?

So you are saying hiting players away from the ball is part of the Game? If I understand the 1st post, they are taking about dirty play not physical play. Its called the beautiful game ( meaning creativity) not the brutal game.
Yes, it has a physical part of the game but alot A$$holes ( like you) think its UFC or NFL.
Pinning that label (thugg ball) on Dh and smitty is unfair, ive seen more then those two with dirty play while a fat ( under paid) ref never leaves the center circle. Some are more concerned dealing with the coaches and parents on the sideline then the players in the game. Its a players game and with a 3 man system their eyes should be on the field. We need better refs, pay better refs who know how to control the game. Another poster stated the dh parents should have spoken up. Well dont say the refs didnt see CW act inappropriate. And lets not say LIJSL didnt know either.
We pay the League, the refs who are the Governing body to control game.Lets point our fingers starting from the top League, Refs and the club. If there is problems with Coaches or players lets not start with the parent blame.

Referees fill out a report for every game. I believe its a rating chart and behavior is on it.
If true,I would love to see these reports from the DH games.

Morse code is easier to decipher... WTF are you trying to say?

Try sticking to monosyllabic words.

Are there any other teams in the BU14 division? I guess not, just the DH team and a coach who everyone loves to hate. It's tough being on top.

No one left, they had 18 on roster and they still have 18 on roster -- but good try in your attempt to stir the pot with a lie (actually lies).

Smithtown is the smallest team in U-14. If you are saying you were bullied by them, I certainly wouldn't come on here admitting it & embarrasing yourself. Thug ball???
