ENY Rank Team Pts GP W T L GF GA GD 01. Rockville Centre Express - LIJSL 12 6 3 3 0 15 5 10 02. East Fishkill Power - EHYSL 10 4 3 1 0 8 2 6 03. Commack Crush - LIJSL (NY) 7 3 2 1 0 6 3 3 04. East Meadow Blue Stars 98 - LIJSL 5 3 1 2 0 9 5 4
How do these 4 ENY teams finish. All undefeated but keep in mind EF has yet to play 3 LI teams. RVC done with LI teams and on top for now but may very well finish 2nd, 3rd or even 4th... Upcomming Commack vs EM is game of season for all 4 of these teams who'll likely finish no more then a point apart each....
My guess is Commack 1st, RVC 2nd, EM 3rd and EF 4th a point apart at most.
LIJ D1 Rank Team Pts GP W T L GF GA GD 1 Sachem Sparks 9 4 3 1 0 8 3 5 9 2 Garden City Wildcats 9 4 3 1 0 13 6 7 9 3 NPT/CH Blue Momentum 7 4 2 1 1 7 4 3 7 4 Smithtown Fury 7 4 2 1 1 5 4 1 7 5 Sound Beach Spirit 6 3 2 1 0 3 1 2 6 6 Farmingdale Shamrocks 6 3 2 1 0 5 3 2 6 7 CJSL BW Gottschee Cosmos 6 3 2 1 0 3 4 -1 6
This looks like a close race 7 deep except for maybe Gottschee GD at -1. Lots of great games upcomming for sure!
My guess is GC 1st, Sound Beach 2nd, Sachem 3rd and Smithtown 4th and like above maybe a point apart
Massapequa 1-2-1 in D2! What the heck happend with this team?
West Islip moving up to D1 in fall replacing Dix Hills - likely another D1 team moves down and 1-2 will move up... Where do Brentwood and Bayport play in Fall - do they get replaced by top 2 ENY teams? And where does Middle Country play now??????? Did they just implode like Liverpool did after winning D1 Spring before?
Way too early to count on West Islip moving up, they still have some tough teams ahead...

Yes the almighty trainer DL has his hands full. They got beat 4-0, 6-0, 7-0 and 8-0. It's on ECNL under U-14 website. I guess he thought they were ready to play a year up? lol
Another know it all. They did not play u14. They are in u13 no standings are posted and have won every game almost by the same scores. Can you sleep ok now. Roster on site says otherwise. so because of some minor technicality lets disqualify a team of 13 year old girls that have been playing us for what 5-6 years now over some different league BS... PLEASE PEOPLE!!! So you don't like the trainer, the parents, thier fields... or your just jealous because they always kick our ass's (all of ours) and always have - lets get even with them by getting them disqualified? 13 year old girls? They play soccer all the time like our kids - they're really good too! Kicked our ass like no one ever has! Wish we didn't see them so early on again but honestly - isn't this state cup about the winner being the best of the best somewhat? Don't you have to beat the best of the best to claim that? (not you RR parents - we all know just how amazing your team is from how often you tell us) Really RR should have been in this tournament too - and we all know what kind of wussy leagues they play in. we're all NY teams! What difference does this make at all????? And old Alby may not have won a major yet but they sure make a respectable show it seems at every tournamnet - and they always play against the best in top flight. Agreed. Not a big fan of Alby but no reason they shouldn't play in state cup. This jealousy and animosity towards each other is over the top. No reason World Class shouldn't be in state cup also. But they read the rules and had to sit out just like RR or any other team that doesn't play in Eastern NY.

Hmm, your right.......FC sting 10 northport 0. Sting plays higher level league than Northport which is borderline D2 team. Please don't beat your chest when you beat the likes of dominators and nhp.

At least 5 or 6 99/98 state players 98 regional player 98 national player. All thes players represent ENY. Get it. The better the 98's do the better ENY looks.

True, look at the latest ENY press release about an Albertson player who comes from the Big Apple League. Ha. If you asked her or the family if she's played in that league she'd have no idea what you're talking about. Nice to see ENY exploiting the system and a kid for its own promotional benefit. And implying that they or Big Apple had something to do with her success. Wait, that's youth sports! All business. And suckas like those who pay TONS of $ on empty promises are picking up the tab for the one in a thousand kid who makes it. What's the ROI on your investment? Your kid's happiness? Please. They could be happy playing with friends. You screw it up for them and then it's too late after they leave home for college.

what is your alternative? play for the intramural father-son combo in HBC and have your kid lose an opportunity to develop? please. Serious? Their are options you just arent thinking the right way about it. If your thinking ahead to college and having your daughter looked at, their are 5-6 teams other then albertson on LI that go to the major tournaments and play in either 1st or 2nd level - Impact, RVC, EM, Merrick, Bayshore. It doesnt matter how those teams do, win or lose..just that they do well enough to continue to go. College recruiters look at players not teams. So as long as your team goes to the big tournaments she will get the chance to be looked at. Fact - I have lived thru it. The 2 strongest leagues in the Region are ECNL and NERP. Other then Albertson, EM plays in ECNL; Impact, Bayshore, Bayport all play in NERP (to be Region 1) and RVC and Merrick may very well also in the near future. That's 5-6 programs committed to having their teams in position to have their girls seen. All 6 may lose everytime they play Albertson it doesnt matter - colleges look at players not teams. BTW, there are other good teams also with strong programs - GC, RR, and other's. If your daughter can play she will get the opportunity some how, some way to be seen. Plenty of alternatives to Albertson, you just have to know how to look at it.

Not a big fan of Alby but no reason they shouldn't play in state cup. This jealousy and animosity towards each other is over the top. any coach worth anything knows the simple fact that advanced and superior players (like the 5 - 7 players alby seems to have) should move up and play vs older bigger faster players. instead they are trapped in their own age group vs lesser athletes so they can accumulate points and tuitions for the club by crushing local teams?. a couple of u13 players that didnt make the team were actually moved up to... the u14! LOL. so transparent that its invisible to the civilians! move the better players up to the lousy u14 team and develop them, for their own benefit, instead of focusing on your pockets and then maybe we wont have a reason to plaster the administration here.. oh what fun it can be when its true.

You sound like you have experience in this but I dont think you can be it the third or fourth bracket and get a big college coach turn out. What older GC,RVC,Merrick,Bay Shore or Bayport team ever was in the top bracket at Wags,Jeff Cup,Disney etc. I dont think the records go back that far. Alby and EM will get the most looks just because of the ecnl. RR I still cant figure out what they do.Impact needs state cup and a good showing at tournaments. If they dont make it out of their bracket at delco they wont see the top bracket there agail. Jeff cup they will be lucky they make the third bracket next year. They may win nerp but tournaments look at who you played and beat in nerp. Whatever your choice is good luck.

Living through it now, maybe, maybe one or two of these teams will make Region 1. It is a whole 'nother level. No slight intended to any team, just an opinion of the caliber of Region 1.
