I am not a DH fan but please give credit where it is due. They are ranked #3 in the country so I guess that means they are pretty good. They just tied the #1 team in the country and they beat top 5 ranked teams a few weeks back to win Annandale so I guess that means they can play with the best. WOW, they lost their second game in over 10 months so everyone comes on here and wants to crucify them. They are a good team who can play with the best. Don't come on this board and try to take that away from the 17 or so 14 year old boys who work hard week in and week out to get to where they are.

Keep guessing - have you ever heard of addition by subtraction? They have won 3 of 5 games in NERP, are still in State Cup & playing better than they EVER have...relax scorned parent!

Thanks for making my point, You cant develope players and need to change half your team to get some wins. your true colors show from your post and it seems youre proud of it.
No, My boys have never played for you. Nor would I subject them to your revolving door. Team work and Development is what its all about. Somthing you know nothing about. Thanks again for your post.

Do you actually think this is the coach writing this stuff. The Smitty team has a great a bunch of boys who all get along.

So now the number is 9 and all the players they lost were members of state odp or went pre academy? BS needle further into the red. What is your next swing at the "facts"?

Since the season ends earlier for Nerp teams, do they hold tryouts in May or do they have to wait util the LIJ season is over?

Once again. What are you talking about? "Back to reality"... They just tied the number 1 team in the NATION and lost to an incredible team by 2 points without their top scorer. That's life... Please have the guts to share with this forum what team your son plays for, so I can better pay attention to their accomplishments since you are so concerned with ours.

Beachside is not #1 in the country. Dix Hils is not #5. Got soccer is based on tourneys not actual competitions that rank the top teams. U13 and below there is no national competition but you should take the 4 regional champs, finalists, semi finalists to get your top 10. At U14 and above its real simple. There is a national tourney that decides who the best are.

They definitely look scary on paper. Smacked some decent NERP teams who in Tournaments, have hung with the big dogs in Region 1.
Where did they come from?
Remaining teams should thank their lucky stars they are not in State Cup. They'd do some damage

A$$, they don't play the prettiest soccer, but they win. tip your cap and move on. Maybe what goes around comes around, but right now there are probably only 2 teams on LI that can play the competition they do and not lose by a touchdown.

If it is true that the coach is the president and they lost 12 on one team in one year. Then he or she is the problem. the club board and members should ask him or her to step down before more damage is done.
I think this is Addys ( lij pres ) home town club.if true maybe she is part of this mess?

The smithtown board won't do anything to the president or lips! They all get a cut of the money. A lot of damage has been done already and they know that! They have lost a lot of good players and families because of their bs!

The Smithtown board needs to know that their President/Coach has been shopping his son and friends at Met Ovel. That clearly shows he could care less about this team or their club. The players who went to the B team seen the writing on the wall. The new additions have not yet seen whats really happening but, just like the others before will see through and hopefully move on before they are left out in the cold.
Its a terrible thing to be used and this guy is using the Club, the Team and other kids, to step on and move on for his own agenda.

If true. I am sure more then board members would want to talk with him!

Where are you getting this BS? You sound like a disgruntled parent that recently left and is trying to stir the pot.

It is amazing the pettiness one reads on this thread. How is this for a little perspective. Plainview soccer club lost a 15 year old soccer player last night to cancer. Makes you think. Go home and hug your kids and tell them you love them

Its not B/S about smithtown pres./coach. He did bring his son and a few others to Met Ovel. Ask him, ask his asst Coach, ask his friend G.G., ask the former smitty goalie dad and then ask any of parents on Met Ovel.
Please, Lets leave the kids out of this mess.
The bottom line is he shouldn't be reping a team or a club while shopping only his son and few others else where. That not right to the team, to the other kids, parents or Club.
