I guess it really is anyone's game in N1. Lots of surprises week after week. Seems that everyone is battling to get into D1 for Fall/2012 when counties merge - Good Luck in the remainder of season!

The fall might have some pretenders in d1 and some contenders in d2 based on some of the crazy results we've been seeing. Crush losing again... And to the HBC Allstars. Crazy stuff. Explain to me how the Allstars only get a draw against DP and beat Crush? Makes no sense. POB, NHP, HBC Chelsea, DH all just dump and chase but are being effective doing so as they have some good results against some good possession style teams. IMO that won't play on the bigger pitches. Any comments?
Well GENIUS, the explaination on how the Allstars only got a DRAW
against DP but beat the Crush is....Wait for it....THEY DIDN'T ONLY GET A DRAW AGAINST
DP, they won the game 3-1. That line alone goes a long way to showing your intelligence and
then you want people to listen to your opinions on POB, NHP, HBCC & DH ? COME ON
MANNNNN

My apologies... I meant a draw against Smithtown Chelsea. Not really interested in what others think of my opinions. Want to hear theirs on the subject.

It seems like LIJ is going to become a glorified travel intramural program. In this age group, Crush, BWA have been rumored to leave LIJ and play in the NPL but is there a requirement in terms of finishing place in LIJ? crush right now is the 3rd place HBC team.

The LIJSL is already marginalized. Region1 and ENYYSA did their part. NPL and RPL will finish it off.

Larry....do you really think that LIJ will be replaced at the highest levels? How can they not see this coming? It's as if they don't even care. With all that money in their coffers can they offer more? Better trained refs would be a nice start. A 2 county PDP not just one. Ect...

The one thing that will save LIJ in the short term are club presidents that still fear LIJ.

What will happen there is that players will move towards the new clubs, like ISA and leave the traditional clubs as we now know them, i.e. the Academies like ISA, SUSA, etc....

Let's wait until later this coming week as BOTN provides more insight, commentary, and information.

Easy psycho. The mistake was DP instead of SC. Two bottom dwellers and same difference. Your intelligence limits precluded you from figuring that one out I guess. Don't wait for the call from Mensa. My guess is that it's not coming for you, sherlock.

Not everyone can play in NPL, its 12 members clubs that make up the league, and yes they can also register and play LIJSL if desired.

Correct on the NPL. That league is sold out, but there is the RPL, and if play in that league you can not play in LIJSL.

Like the cowboy movies I watched as a kid, where at the end of the movie there were two guys on horses at a fork in the trail. One went left on trail and the other cowboy went right on the trail...a fork in the road...and that is where I see the teams now...at a fork in the road.

LIJSL has alienated teams and clubs for years and I don't think they will see any growth, rather the continuing decline that has been going on slowly with regional leagues and academies.

Look for more clubs to form from the private academies and since LIJL and ENYYSA won't accept them, like ISA, they will play NPL, RPL, and NY Club Soccer.

What do you think?

So it's not for the best teams just those who's clubs belong, is that a good formula ? Sounds like a private club, members only.

Correct, I guess the member clubs are hoping that the affiliation will create interest.
