What about your coach who was supposedly trained and is the ONLY adult allowed to deal with the kids (other than parents) and that is why they carry a pass? Anyone with HALF a brain knows that you do not move anyone who is injured until you can verify that they can be moved. You do not need to be a doctor to know that! ANYONE can pick up the phone and call 911 which IS what should have been done with an unconscious player. Don’t go looking to blame someone else because the parents and the coach didn’t have a clue on how to dial 911!

Not my coach, not my team. And that woman brought this on herself by making obnoxious comments while a child lay unconcious on the field-anyone with HALF a brain wouldn't do that. And no one is blaming her for the child getting hurt, just commenting on her attitude towards 10 year old kids. Karma will take care of her someday.

Maybe she'll get jail time for not helping out like on the final Seinfeld episode.

If she deserves jail time for just being a parent on the sidelines, so do all the SH parents for also just standing around doing nothing!

Just another parent like the rest of the people that were there.

Is it definite that the woman in question is actually a healthcare professional, rather than a parent who just made a dumb, insensitive comment?

You are an idiot. Nobody stood around doing nothing. We were trying to call 911 but there was no cell service in your GOD FORESAKEN field. If you are not trained in emergency medicine then it is better not to get involved. The individual from her comment was a trained medical person. She deliberatly announced "I could assist, for our kids yes. Not for them." Thats all this is about. Not about anything else.

Ditto to CBS Tech. It was about the comment. Her comment clearly indicated that she was trained in some way to assist, but wouldn't because she didn't want to get involved because it wasn't one of their girls. It is all about the insensitive comment. So instead of just admitting that it was a stupid/obnoxious comment, keep blaming everyone else. Still waiting for the audio on the uncut tape. That would be great!

From the outside looking in, she could have shown class & professionalism by keeping her opinion to herself if she was only thinking about her own liability & not the child's welfare. Her expressing anything other than concern was shamefully ignorant & uncaring...there is no other way to interpret this. An injured child is the worst possible outcome at any youth level competition! Nothing is more important than the recovery of any kid that's been hurt...how is that not obvious?
