You people are unreal. The guy had a situation that could happen anywhere and was curious how others would handle it. Most likely he was stressed because he desperately wanted to "Choke the S*** out of some A-hole that desperately deserved it" (as the definition of stress is commonly described as) but like many grown men with children, realized it isn't like when you are younger and although you can, you can't just beat the snot of of someone without the possibility of severe consequences especially at a YOUTH sporting event. I'm sure there was a back and forth but bottom line is that the douche that was aguing whether a ball was out of bounds or not has no clue regarding the sport, how to be a supportive parent, a member of a team, a member of society. IF something so freaking minor set this guy off on his described course of action, well then he has some serious issues. IF the Coach of this team doesn't address/handle this immediately then he shouldn't be a coach. Big Five I tried to tell you your intentions were good but this is always how things turn out here on the BOTN. As for asking this people what THEY would do....It's laughable because when it comes down to it, 99% of people don't do anything near what they think or say they would. You did the right thing walking away no matter how hard that may have been or isn't sitting right with you now after the fact. It needs to be addressed one way or another though

This past Sunday I was asked to do the sideline flag in the pouring rain. One minute into the game a parent from our own team (new parent) disagreed with a call NOT in our favor. He continued on cursing, telling me I blew the call, etc, and I said "you take the flag", which he wouldn't. Finally I dropped the flag and went to the other side of the field. At the end of the game(1 HOUR LATER) he came to my side of the field and walked right next to me to leave. A few of our long time parents were between us monitoring the situation. I walked off without instigating any situation. Half way down the field I decided to cross to the other side, and this guy( in the pouring rain follows me) Tells me how I am lucky his kid is there, etc, etc. We get to the parking lot and he stands in the pouring rain and glares at me next to my vehicle while I am loading my kid into the car. Then on the way out he rolls down his window as he drives by me and says "i'll see you again". So my question is what type of response would you expect from the team administrator??? How do you think our team should respond to these type of actions???
