If the Stampede are sooo bad and never beat any of the top teams then what are you all so worried about? If they do get through then WCFC, Manhattan and NR should be happy since they always beat them! Heck whomever plays the Stampede can afford to sit their best players and rest up for the finals! Then when they loose in the semis you can all come on BOTN and tell the whole world what a bad team they are and that should keep you busy for a day or two at their expense. Have fun with it, cause nobody cares! Kids play the game, adults create the circus around it.

Your last line so rings true, the parents create the circus atmosphere and too many time here on BOTN as well on the side lines the Stampede parents have created that atmosphere. For a team that has been together for such a short time their arrogance has got the best of them and that is why they are targeted here so often they are a team that so often talks the talk but they can never walk the walk. When you try to compete and compare yourself to PDA in NJ and WCFC that's where the trouble lies. Those clubs have been around a lot longer and have much better talentd kids with more depth. Let the players enjoy there own success on the field however they choose to show it. 11/12 year olds who win as a team should enjoy there moments of accomplishment. It's not for the parents to come on BOTN and steal the teams thunder 9zuby pronouncing how they are an elite team that is what creates that atmosphere. And Stampede parent before you refute this claim please review this thread first. Good luck to all the teams participating at DELCO.

How do "Premiere teams" play in the 3rd rated bracket?

Elite, Santos, Rowdies, LIFC playing in the Championship flight.
Alleycats, East Islip, and the real premiere team "Buzz" in the Elite flight.

Why travel all that way and not play the best? Just ask to play in the Gold bracket and be "champions"

NYE in top flight are WCFC, Manhattan, Northport, Stampede, North Rockland and East Meadow. Great representation in all four groups in top tier. As far as the other Long Island teams they really do not have a "history" playing off the Island so this is their opportunity to move up with a impressive showing at Delco.

East meadow should not be in top bracket, what have they done? The real north port showed who they are at manhattan. Unless they can find some guest players, they won't make any noise at delco. LI teams don't even have a record of doing well on the island at u12
