RR??? they haven't played any teams better then LIJS D2 teams in the candy ass leagues and bogus tournaments they play in - equal with Alby??? Sure RR mom - keep smoking that pipe! Its a shame that you will never see rr vs the 98's since they sit back and hide.the 98's would beat them 5-0.

Did a little research to see if your bluster could be supported. Two teams were dropped from D1 to D2 after last spring, Terryville and Farmingdale. Terryville was 2-7 and Farmingdale 3-5-1. Here are the scores from that season:

Of the ten teams that were in the President’s League last year, five are going to NERP and two play in the NCNL. Bayport is also going to NERP. That leaves Garden City, FC Somers and World Class 99s to return to the ENY Premier League. Now let’s assume a total of five LIJSL teams get accepted to the ENY Premier League (formerly President’s League) like last year. (RVC, M.C., Commack, Merrick and Garden City). Northport 99s are going back on age to ENY Premier League. That leaves Sound Beach and Smithtown returning to D1. Does LIJSL promote 8 D2 teams to D1? I would think that Gottschee and Massapequa get a reprieve before that would happen, and they only promote six teams. Either way, Sachem should do fine.
(Just speculation. No offense intended toward anyone).

LIJSL will not bump that many teams up. Most likely scenario is division 1 will consist of 8 teams. My guess will be:
Smithtown, sound beach, middle country,
Sachem, gottschee, massapequa,
NPt blue, and farmingdale

I think rvc stays in LIJSL this spring. If so mass goes down to 2.
Brentwood rush is the bubble team. Fall d2 teams have to remember that they played 10 games so 17-20 points does not automatically get you into d1.

Probably up to RVC if they wanted to play in ENY. They do have a lot of good lax kids as well. So maybe they didn't apply? But if they did they will and should probably get in. If not obviously they will probably play Div 1.

Who knows. With all these leagues at such young ages it's kind of a joke. I mean no dis respect but Bayshore/ Brentwood whatever did not win a game this past fall. Never a tournament or anything else on age?? But they got into NERP along with 5 other Brentwood teams in other age groups. It's a joke.

Merrick had an easy draw in the State Cup so I dont think that should be a consideration.
They didnt beat any top teams to get to the semifinal. Sorry, just countering your comment with facts.
