The only ugly part of the game was the very blatant foul by an RVC player that earned a well deserved red card. Other than that it was a good, fair game. It was quite physical, but not many fouls. RVC kept it interesting throughout, but in reality they only challenged ISA Sting for about the first 10 minutes.

I have coached against RVC and they are a far cry from a " class act " !!

The old East Islip was a good team. This team is playing very watered day competition. Could never compete well with higher level competition. Sorry but that is the fact.

The foul was blatant and earned the card. RVC did seem to come unraveled, the outcome wasn't in doubt by late in first half and RVC can get chippy but in general they play solid soccer. ISA isn't showing many weaknesses, perhaps they do have some of that old EI mojo wouldn't underestimate them, they'll compete with anybody at this moment

Most of this ISA team is the 'FC Sting' team that finished 3rd place last season, right behind the Stars & Alleycats, so they are certainly capable of competing. Don't know how many of the good ole EI girls are still there but on paper they should stack up against any other Premier squad. Could go to the finals but now have to deal with true Premier competition so nothing is gauranteed.
