ok back to the action! poor kids, those fields must have been really terrible!

can someone explain the logic behind going from the fields suck (which no one has denied) to being an excuse to bash MSC? love to see that trail.

Here comes albertson

As I've said before, it will be tough finding parking at Harbor Links come early June.

It may be tought finding a parking spot but there should be plenty of spots on the B or C teams for you.

How does it feel to be on edge knowing if new players come that your play time will suffer?Remember they cant have more than 25 on the roster.

And only the top 11 will mostly play while the 14 sit on the bench and watch. Remember if you want you child to get better and be seen, they have to be on the field playing. Otherwise,
you are only on the team to support the top players.

Alot of talent out there and you dont even have a top 1 at any position.I would be a little nervous.

All this movement is a bit ridiculous. It's not like there is much difference between these teams in terms of the leagues/tournaments they play in. I use 2 simple questions when talking to parents. Is your daughter happy when she goes to and comes home from practice? Is she playing at least 75% of each game on average? If the answer to both is yes, then just leave them alone. If they are not happy, move them immediately. If they aren't playing, move them to a team where they will play. After all, isn't that why you started playing in the first place? To play the game? Nobody gets better sitting on the bench all the time.

It's not the kids who are causing all the movement. It's their crazy parents. The kids just want to play.

It is also the war going on between USYSA and US Club with the new ECNL league and the slimmy clubs associated with it. They're out there telling everyone that if you're not playing in their league and their club then no college coach will touch you, which is not true. They want you to believe this so that you can line their pockets more. Some people are running scared right into it.

Most of the clubs on long island applied to this slimy league and were rejected. I wonder how slimy they would have been had your club been accepted.

My club did not apply and are not interested in applying. I know that for a fact. No other club on Long Island should waste time applying because its just a group of individuals that control it and do not want anyone else in from the region. PR will continue to say that there are no other clubs worthy of selection and he's the one on the committee that is choosing the new clubs.

I think it has already been determined and confirmed that there are a few unstellar 'elite' clubs playing already.

I believe that most clubs on LI have applied. I also believe that they applied because the crazy parents believe the hype and it is attracting players. The teams are not applying because of the level of competition, or the amount of coaches it can access, its a simple fact that all the clubs are looking for anything that will attract players.
This does not validate the ECNL as a superior league. It validates the clubs for being greedy and the parents for being crazy.

Don't hold your breath. The trolls have crawled back underneath the rocks from which they slithered. Remember, consistency is the hobgoblin of small minds.
