Actually Albertson has a game left as well. If both Albertson and Oceanside win ( which they both should )the standings will be as follows:

Floral Park Fire 8- 1
Albertson Barcelona 7- 1- 1
Uniondale Leones 7- 2
Oceanside Dragons 7- 2

What will LIJSL do?

Actually, that decides it, then. Only 2 go up and 2 go down.

Having seen games involving all these teams, I would say Albertson is best equipped to play in D1. FP will struggle record wise but can compete with RVC, Hicksville, etc. Uniondale and Oceanside would not have fun in D1.

Predictions N1: Farmingdale, NHP, POB, Bellmore, RVC, Hicksville, Elmont, HOTA, FP, Albertson

N2: Syosset, Garden City, Uniondale, Oceanside, Massapequa, HOTA, Jericho, Hempstead, Pt Wash, Merrick

Is it true Bellmore goalie is playing for Farmingdale in the Spring? [/quote]

Isn't he the coaches kid?

I would be shocked if the Bellmore keeper went to Farmingdale. His dad is the coach on Bellmore and he is trying to build the program over there, unless Bellmore is just a waste of time then the dad will move.

Hope not, but if true, Bellmore falls to the bottom half of the division, and Farmingdale will not let up more than 5 goals. What a terrific player. The most valuable player to any team in D-1. Been around the game a long time, and have never seen a goalie that good at this age.

Just because you see 12-13 on the bench doesn't mean they have less than the maximum. It could just mean they have less than a full team that day. I have 15 on my roster and only one time, last game of the season, did I have a complete roster. The minimum is 12 and maximum is 15. Granted, some teams do carry less.

Oh of course you do...everyone knows more than the coaches. I wonder...if you know so much more than the coaches why aren't you coaching? The kids can obviously learn from your expertise.

Now the question needs to be asked with the season over and S1 having 4 teams with only 8pts or less

DH Crushers 8pts
Hauppauge 8pts
Commack 2pts
NPT/CH 2pts

How many get relegated ?

Smithtown is obviously being promoted as well as WB so Commack & NPT/CH are obviously D2 bound but with DP winning their last 6 games straight did they do enough to also be promoted too and in turn take a spot from Hauppauge or the DH Crushers ? Now that is the question.
