I say:

GT wins 3 to 1
NYSC wins. 3 to 2. In OT

GT over NYSC. 2 to 1

Just my guess

Well I had the winners anyway. Nd the NYSC vs villa goal differential. Sounds like it was a good game. All 1 0 games should be good

GT big winners. I still go with GT. I always thought the winner of the flames vs GT would take it all

Good luck to both!!!

Newsflash:

The flames are not in the same league as NYSC or MSC Villa. GT is.

Villa had strong 15 min in the second half with little pressure before a good lucky distance shot finished the game. Both teams fought hard to the end.

I believe that GT and BWG are still stronger than those two, but games need to be played first.

Good luck to both team also at Delco, hope someone writes an objective report.

Side comment: It is still ridicolous to see those kids play a full-size field - encouraging the wrong things in the long run like kick and rush and long distance shooting. U13 or even U14 would be better.

I'm a MSC Villa Parent and tell you this, the NYSC goal was world class. I saw the player move up the field untouched and launched a rocket about 20 out and was never challenged. It was a magical strike. The kid is a really good player. luck had nothing to do with it.

Hat's off to the NYSC. They were the better team on the day. We came out flat and could never get anything going. We had a decent 15 mins or so in the second half, but overall, the day belonged to NYSC. Congrats!

Really? Then how come their cup game was only 1-0 with the goal being scored in the last 2 minutes of the game. I was at that game and the Flames surprised me. They played great, dominated the game but just didn't score even though they did have many opportunities. Again, it was a tough battle and GT came out on top but I certainly would not discount the Flames. And NO I am not a Flames parent. I was an interested bystander who actually went to watch GT play and had the pleasure of seeing a fantastic game.

I think the Flames are a very talented team. I'm not sure why you people can't give credit where it's due. These are 12 year old boys people give them some credit and stop bashing them.

As stated many times above, NYSC, GT, MV, DHH and the Flames are all very talented teams!!!

It was my post that started this. I put the guesses out there. My thoughts stand. Flames are a good team. Will probably be in some premier next year. Just because they stayed in LIJ one more year. Who cares. All teams listed are evenly matched. Some win more than others but all can beat each other

Signed a dad who's son has played all these teams and ha lost and won

agree 100%!!! there is no U12 team that is way above the rest. they can all beat each other on any given day. and that include [****], DHH and BWG to the list of the above post.

Interesting to read, how many discuss those premier clubs at U12 negatively. My 2 cents: Hedge funds managed teams are not the answer, they want to make money with our college schoolarship hopes, ... and I have to pay extra for the playing time. The teams or kids don't matter at the end, money rules. Stick with school - or do you want your son to become a pro and make 60k a year in MLS ? Let them enjoy the fun of the game no matter the team or club, it is very soon over at U15 when JV starts, you still pay then more than 5k for showcase tournament travel and you want your kid to be seen. Who really cares about U12 teams - they all play well among us rich people.

To some people it's not about money, scholarships or getting into a school; it's about Family, culture, love for the game and your kids' dreams of being a star one day, whether it be in the US or somewhere else. What's so weird about that? Never said they can't do well in school.

My boy entirely loves soccer, but my family push grades a lot on him he's top ten in his class and is a premier soccer player (starter) Yes it is important to be very talented but it's more important to have good grades or else it will be impossible for a good div 1 school to get a boy in just on pure talent

[quote=Anonymous]I am sorry but if you are playing on a top d1 or premier team playing other sports is not going to happen. It is not fair to the other kids if you are not showing up to training. And also most trainers/coaches would not and should not play kids who are not committed

This I agree with. It's great kids want to play all sports, but when a coach asks for committment, they should get it. It's a shame when a team learns a new technique with a trainer, but when they go to use it in the game, 3 kid's don't know what's going on because they were at an Intramural baseball game. If they want to do everything, they should not be committed to such high level play. Coaches at high levels should be looking for more committment, and not be afraid to make adjustments when they don't get it. But some parents love to say their kids is the star at everything.
