Newsflash: I'm not French. I'm an American. My post in no way minimized or denigrated the Cosmos 99 team. I have played the game all my life and know a great deal about it. The Cosmos 99 team is a very good team. Morever, I am keenly aware of the training to which you allude - it is first rate. So, you will not get any argument from me in that regard nor should you have taken my post to suggest anything different. My concluding point Tool, was that the "chasing teams" may very well get better through consolidation and player upgrades. Yes, the quality of training is paramount in this regard - no doubt - and some of the clubs mentioned do have first rate training as well. But, let's not forget the pool from with the Cosmos 99 is able to drawn from - to ignore that reality is to overstate training as the only thing that produces a strong football team. It takes more than that my friend, albeit first rate training is critical to the key to a team's success.

well the pool for cosmos 99 team is over. as i hear there is no more cosmos and they are going back to Gottschee 99. with such high fees many players will leave and the pool at tryout will be significantly smaller.

State cup this weekend

My guess is the winner of the Gotchee/cosmos vs Dhh will win the south bracket
