Thanks. Part of my dissapointment is it would give him an opportunity to play with other kids from school and for me to get to know more of his friends and other parents from the district. The news was a big dissapointment.

don't worry about it. I have kids that have played middle school and high school ball. The talent is so watered down. it doesn't compare to club ball. the coaching is really bad.usually its some math teacher that has no clue about soccer and is just there for the extra money

why do you need to be a jerk? Just stateing a fact. You have no clue what school i attended and what degrees i hold. Someone asked a question and i answered based on my experience. I would like you to tell me what middle school or high school soccer program compares to D1. I've spent a lot of years watching school ball and club ball and I haven't found one yet. Glad i'm not your kid!!!

One of the reasons my child plays school soccer is for the social aspect of it. It's a shame that this is being taken away from the kids. I don't know what district your from but you are not alone. Alot of districts are being forced to cut athletics

I guess you don't have kids that play school sports yet. This person is right on the money. The school sports are hard to watch at times. When you are used to watching the game played at a D1 or premier level the speed and level of talent in the school game doesn't compare. All the coaches know is pick the fastest kids and play kick and run. The club coaches and trainers have to deprogram the kids and break them of all the bad habits they pick up during school season.
