Funny. Every year the same story repeats itself.It's like a broken record. Last year, LIAnfield was also a team that could play with the best but never quite made it. If you playing Region 1 and get blow away in a given game, you shouldn't be there. All the games are supposed to be close but the special ones find a way to win. As always, there will always be an exception to the rule as the U15 Smithtown that won back to back SC and Regionals last year.

9 is the real number. All good players, State odp and pre academy players. those are the facts.

I am not a DH fan but please give credit where it is due. They are ranked #3 in the country so I guess that means they are pretty good. They just tied the #1 team in the country and they beat top 5 ranked teams a few weeks back to win Annandale so I guess that means they can play with the best. WOW, they lost their second game in over 10 months so everyone comes on here and wants to crucify them. They are a good team who can play with the best. Don't come on this board and try to take that away from the 17 or so 14 year old boys who work hard week in and week out to get to where they are.

I would like to see the current Brentwood team that has the very proficient offense play against some of the power house teams. Looks like they may be one of the new top dogs. JMHO
