Ok it has been a little quiet. Some MSC finals predictions:

Mass vs Oakwood
N. Rockland vs Brentwood
Alleycats vs Brooklyn
Smithtown vs Crusaders
FC Westchester vs Western United

Commack, Dix Hills and Bay Shore/Brentwood all in trouble. Massapequa is also starting to lose players now. Looks like the age group is about to get reorganized. [/quote]

Brentwood should be nonexistent in your stirring the pot. Everything's fine so leave us out of your rumors. 18 players on roster with cuts made at tryouts.

Waiting list at Brentwood all the time to join this team

It's funny how hard you are trying to get attention!

WIN SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!

Saw Discover flights...

Inquiry minds want to know..

"The distraction" moves from EM to Brentwood, yet EM is in Top Flight
But the dream team is in the "Second Flight"?

Things that make you go hmmm..

Be careful what you say, "The Distraction" is like a big black cloud on a team,
weird things will start to happen to your team once he becomes part of it,
if they haven't already..
Buyer be ware..

You just don't get it .... we were and still are a PREMIERE team no matter what the name.

Brentwoog aka Bayshore, question...
What happened?
What's with the exodus?
No Distraction,
No Baldie (that was quick)
No Shreck
Lots of other loonies missing....
Wow major changes
Not the team to beat anymore
Top 5 or 6 in LI
but definitely far, far away from top 2
Maybe better chemistry on the team now..
Good luck in the upcoming season wink

Wow, so much to say. Did someone unlock the basement door? All these teams are competing and by no means doing bad. If you didn't notice, things change as the players get older. Some great players aren't so great anymore and some stop playing completely. At this age if you are injury free and competing all is good.

That looks like a bunch of old posts..
and maybe someone that left or was let go from Bretwood with an
axe to grind
You are right, as long as they are playing, healthy and having a good time
who cares...
Look at all the teams that have folded since this age group came into travel

While on the other side you have 4 very good defensive teams that are going to kill each other with physical play. Alot of 0-0, 1-1, 1-0 games I see.

I think they should switch 1 team from A - Coppa or Holmdel with World Class.

I think CRUSH should easily win the A flight but I think whoever wins the B bracket will win the tournament as they will be more battle tested.

However it could work against the B bracket since its very early in the spring season so the girls might now be in full shape to beat a team like CRUSH in the finals after a hard time getting through their own bracket.

thoughts ......

You where pretty much right on.

The games I saw at Randalls in this age group had some very good moments in them. Many of the teams have benefited from the mild winter and practicing outdoors. The MSC tournament was a good experience for our girls and parents. I thought the refs did a decent job, although I would have made at least half of the calls the other way, lol. The shuttle bus system ran very smoothly. No complaints other than not being able to use the pedestrian bridge to get into manhattan between games

This is a very talented age group and this weekend seemed a good start for the teams that participated. Thanks to MSC for a job well done.
