Folks I don't about league play, but looking at the State and Long Island Cup results you have to be excited about the Strong Island teams. Looks like POB will be doing some damage. Keep it up!

All the negativity on this site. Just state the right facts. The Crush is not in LI Cup - they did not enter even though they have won it the past couple of years. The Crush is playing State Cup. Come on now-- is that really shying away from the competition. Some nice upsets in the Cup games. Nice job boys.

Does anyone have the dates for the next Long Island and State cup games? Will these be played on Saturdays or Sundays or do they leave that up to the coaches to schedule? Thank you.

POB is a good team. They should have a good spring taking them into D1 when Nassau and Suffolk combine next year. They will have no problem keeping the team together and adding a few good players that leave their current teams in June.

Check the tab on the left side that is titled "SPRING SCHEDULE" it lists all the dates of play

I agree, they have a solid foundation and will be able to move to the larger roster next year. Some of the top teams whose clubs historically take a step back or fold when they need a larger roster are Elmont, Bellmore, FP, Uniondale with clubs like Albertson, Hicksville, Massapequa benefitting from kids looking for a place to play. I also see that a few LI clubs have joined the NPL and will have their top team playing that possibly instead of LIJ next season (Brentwood, HBC, Massapequa, NY Hota)
