You could make that argument, that once they were up by 5 it would make some sense to let up a bit. But then there is the argument that you should go 100% all the time. That was how the game was played.

Sorry, but IMHO DH is a tad better...just by virtue of the consistency of roster. C'mon you gotta give Cordt and those parents credit for sticking with it and developing an excellent team. I am sure ya'll gonna say this and that, but it is true.

DH escaped with a draw - i guess the DH striker did not like getting the ball stolen from him so he blew up the HBC sweeper - breaking his wrist

Titans got a bull [****] penalty kick in first half and DH played a man down for over 45 minutes. So how could they have just escaped? Did the DH stiker who blew up the HBC sweeper get a red card? If the play was that dangerous he must of!! Or was a clean play and HBC fell the wrong way....C'mon stop with excuses!!

HBC was handed a goal in first minutes of game by poor call by ref. Then sent off a DH player for yet another clean tackle. At this point HBC was up 2-0 and DH had to play down a guy for 50 minutes. DHE took it to HBC for 50 straight minutes down a guy and IMO HBC was the team to escape with only a tie. DHE was all over them for the remainder of game and ref failed to call 2 hand balls in the box on HBC defenders. Neutral fan of both teams but DHE showed some real heart and deserved to win that game.

I hate to tell you that I told you so, but.....

This is the way it goes.... if DHE loses or draws, we have to read post after post about how they were unlucky, cheated, cold, tired, and/or sick... or the stars were out of alignment.... or the sun was too bright... or the ball was the wrong color..... or Cordt had tummy ache... or the wind was northerly, or southerly, or whatever....

If they win, then we have to read post after post of them gloating....

They need to get used to the fact that the pond has gotten smaller and the other fish have gotten bigger as well.......... sorry parents..... you're boys are no longer "special."

FYI, We all know that DHE is and has always been a very good team, one of the best out there. I can also say that I don't think it's Cordt or anyone from there team that comes on here and pounds there chest saying that they're the best. Just a bunch of envious parents. JMHO

If at least 50% of this is true, then DHE played a hell of a game and hats off to them. I think red is BS and green is on the $$. Can't tell about the striker/sweeper bit... either way. Sorry the Titan kid got injured. Great player.
