Brilliant move by LIFC, now they have a place to call home with a solid core of girls with a well respected Coach/trainer. In addition, they will now be able to participate in the ECNL. So as far as recruiting goes, their will be many quality players wanting to join this team. Coming off their success at the Delco tournament they have to be one of the favorites this fall especially since they are a much better team on the bigger pitch.

Nothing like a little self promoting, huh Mom?
Lets see what happens when lacrosse takes priority and this move at U12 means nothing.

They finished 5th and LIFC move to Nassau BEFORE the alignments. Therefore they move down one position to 6th and were placed in D2

Makes sense to me D1 looks, for the most part, pretty good from the top to the bottom. PW might be better off in D2. The only team that might have a long season is Haup, but maybe they added.

D2 also makes sense, but what happened to Farmingdale and Sachem?
Commack has their A1 and A2 team in the same division.

As for D3, the three strongest teams are probably the 3 new ones, the Brooklyn Team, the Mt sinai Team, and SH Argentina playing up.

Thoughts/comments?

Rumor has it Farmingdales coach got suspended from LIJSL so he took his team to another league. They were a strong d3 team at best anyway.

A coach in bad standing in one league is in bad standing in another league assuming both leagues are sanctioned. If the other league isntsanctioned then it doesnt mean [****].

D1 does look very good but the Nassau teams arent going to fare that well against the Suffolk teams (exception is Hauppague)
D2 will be a cakewalk for Commack cyclones
D3 Im wondering how this Argentina team will do. They are a talented team but dont have any size.....
