Is lacrosse pulling enough girls to impact the outcome? I have noticed too that some girls are favoring lacrosse over soccer. Any towns where this is an issue? I would guess that premiere teams would not allow for missing a soccer game for a lacrosse game but do see it at various levels in lijsl,

Do you mean the most dysfunctional game of the tournament. If that is the semis then the DELCO organizers need to seriously reconsider those 2 brackets.

We are a D1/2 team and our coach worked to schedule soccer practices on different days than lax practices as we have enough girls on the team that play lax. Most of the girls would choose lax over soccer. (I would rather watch lax over soccer, but it's not up to me!) When you factor in BB and then school sports next year, it starts to be crazy! Summer travel soccer tournaments start to be a problem because the various travel lax teams already know what tournaments they are playing in and those are usually already paid for when you register for the team.

Not sure Rowdies make it out of the bracket. Stampede and WC seem to be a lock based on the other teams in their brackets

My daughter played both until U14. Then it became impossible to juggle it. In both sports, the coaches and trainers demanded that she choose which in all fairness to the team, she had to. Both sports play all year round and at a very competitive level. The unfortunate part was she loved both and it killed her to give up one, and she still misses it today. But it was not fair to her team who depended on her at practice and game day for her not to be there and still expect to play. And she doesnt have the stress of making that choice anymore. My life is alot easier (whew!!!) The multi sport athletes, outside of football and basketball, will soon have to choose. And the jilted team will either pick up some strong players or break up when their higher level players need a higher level place to play with a more consistant roster and one sport dedicated teammates.

FC Bucks had a great run at the Manhattan tournament getting out of their bracket with PDA & Manhattan so the Stampede are certainly not a lock for their bracket.

FYI. Stampede has beaten WC.
