In Long island you can either play in the Commack tourney or the Massapequa tourney which in 2011 was at Bethpage Polo grounds.

Can't speak for Commack tournament as my son's team did not play there but Massapequa was well run. No issues and would appear it was higher level of competition as compared to Commack. Bethpage fields are well maintained but I think to small for anything older than u11.

The Commack tournament is not well run or organized. They also use grass fields, which are muddy quite often.

As for the Massapequa tournament, Bethpage is only one of the venues they use. Burns Park, Field of Dreams, and Soccer Park, plus many other turf fields are used.

Regarding LI Cup schedule. It seems Round-2 for LICUP is scheduled for the weekend of April 13th which seems like a tough weekend for parents coming back from holiday week. Did anyone participate last year? if so, was the schedule similar? can you request to play at a different date if you qualify ? civil please...

Let's see how much you post after the 1 st few weeks . You have real teams coming , many who know just how low this team is . They ran up scores in tournaments and have 0 sportsmanship . I'm looking forward to watching them fail !!

Didn't see the Wolverines on the list.
Usually HBC will have one Powerhouse team, and although all the other teams are nice teams I saw that Wolverines are playing aWannbeLowLevelLeague. I assume they are really good.

Just was wondering why not in LIJSL? Are they in an elite league? If they are coming back to LIJSL what division?

They are good , but VERY good I don't think so . Northport had a good start but terrible end of the fall season . Sachem is well coached and fast . I think they are the better team of the 2 . With WI Crush moving up , Sachem should take the division .
