I'm a Manhattan parent - I was there marshalling the field. It was a great game. The kind of game that made all of the tournament workers stop and watch. The Magic Jack scored the go-ahead goal with about 7 minutes left (yes, the goal did barely cross the line, but the Farmingdale defender was assaulted on the play). A meaningless third Magic Jack goal was scored at the end of the game off a direct kick.

Like I said, I had no horse in the race, but good soccer is good soccer. This one was more than good....and dramatic. Farmingdale rightfully could have had beefs about the officiating, but true to form, not a peep was said after the game.

To be honest I thought FU had the better of the play for 75% of the game. Magic Jacks were a good team with good athletes. I still do not understand why someone would pay all that money for youth soccer.

You obviously do not know much about the Magic Jacks? Their coach is a mult-millionaire and those kids pay 0. All expenses including hotel and travel paid for by coach. Rumor has it while at tournament they all stayed at the Woldorf Astoria.

Not even close. They are a collection of great players (yes, great), but are far from a great team. Their backs run forward as fast as they can when the ball is played upfield, and they leave themselves open for the counter. In layman's terms, they freakin' play an offside trap. Technically, they are superior. Tactically, they are infants. FU is close to them technically, superior to them tactically. In 2 years FU beats them 6 outta 10 times.

Hahaha That's a good one. MJ will add 4-5 even better players each year. If you cant beat them this year it wont ever happen. What has FU won outside of LI? Nothing.

If they win the Presidents league this year and then win NERP next year and then win R1 the following year, they will get their shot.

A real great bracket it was is right. We are the team to beat in the presidents league All our new players are so happy to be here. We did think we were going to region 1 but presidents league is just fine because we need some wins immediately. Thanks for the nice words about us.

Just wondering- in the Elite Grouping, Lindenhurst and Beachside appeared to have the exact same results- how did Lindenhurst get to be the finalist? Just asking?

We are sure that ISA would want you to keep your daughter on her d3 team anyway. You are a disgrace and a piece of sh8t too so stay where you are. It looks like their was alot of 0 0 ties so it wasnt only commack isa that couldnt put it in the net.
