Question. Between D1 and D2 Suffolk, which teams do you think play the dirtiest?

With the outdoor spring season really kicking off this weekend, does anyone want to take a stab at scouting reports for the D1 teams (stengths, weaknesses, etc)?

Question. Between D1 and D2 Suffolk, which teams do you think play the dirtiest?

I can only speak for Suffolk since my kid plays in that division. Also, I only watch my daughter play and not really the other players on opposing teams enough to give a report on strengths or weaknesses, however, I obviously have seen them play, so with that, here are my thoughts:

1- Dix Hills White will go undefeated and finish at top (No, I'm NOT a DH parent)

2- East Islip, HBC, Kings Park, Brentwood, Commack and Smithtown will fight it out for spots 2-5. All great teams

3- Northport should have stayed in D2, Bayport would have done better in D1 than they will.

4- Sachem and Middle Country - well, unfortunately the only win Sachem will get is when they play Middle Country, other than that, they both should enjoy their time while they are in D1 because they won't be back.

Suffolk. Suffolk has some nasty fields. Esp on the south shore where the grass is thin and the gulls fly overhead. Even Northports "park" can get really muddy. And talk about the Manorville field behind the police station, converted farm land that can't grow grass because of too much past fertilizer. Real dirty in Manorville.
