OMG with Argentina having moved up this thread is going to be sooo booooring!! Every good thread needs a villain and a hero and we better come up with candidates soon or we will go back to reading novels. We need action, let's get going...... Maybe DH should request a move to N1 and at least they will have a four game season.

It must be tough for Argentina to be moved up like they wanted to the big field and than get put into D3. Maybe that's LIJs payback for playing up in the other league and expecting the results to be factored in.

Fast, good skills, should have moved up to D2 this season . They finished 3rd in D3 yet all 5 top D3 teams finished with 19 pts, 19 pts, 17 pts, 17 pts, 17 pts. Yet they stayed in D3. I dont get it, but they will take the division. they should be in D2. Other divisions I have no idea so I will agree with you said,

D1 - DH - at this point too good for the rest of the division
D2 - HBCF- very skilled team, gave up least amt of goals, scored the most in Spring.
D3 - NPT - Should be in D2, unless they lost players, should win division easily.
D4 - WI - should easily win, can score.
D5 - D7 - there are always new teams popping up and I bet there are some very good teams in this grouping, so its always tough to predict these divisions. Coming in at this age, you have to start in a lower division and work your way up. There are definitely going to be some diamonds in here.

Good luck to all the girls this coming season.

Bank on it, and also note that I posted my prediction of this happening to Argentina, and other teams who have been misguided and bull [****]. Teams should not say they weren't warned by BOTN.

As anyone who has older children know, the majority of teams with such strong personalities and so dominant at a young age tend to have a lot of player movement and disband at a reasonably young age. Everything is dandy while they beat girls just starting out 5-0 on a weekly basis, just wait till losing creeps in. Parents will not tolerate it, finger point, it will be a total mess. I hate to say this, but the parents on this team believe they display sportsmanship, but our loud, condescending and arrogant, and that is driven by the "trainers". All the teams are this way, they should have some guidelines on how their parents should act.

People on this thread as well on the U10 thread spoke about how much Argentina was being misguided by the coaches and trainers. So, now they went from the top to the 3rd division. All they had to do is stay on age and continue to progress on the field with passing, dribbling, etc. and also supplement that with tournaments where they could play on the bigger pitch and play up. So instead look where they are now. Just another team caught up in their own hype and promises of a coach with his own agenda. It's a shame. Go back on age and act like 10/11 year olds and learn the game correctly.

D1 - Dix Hills. They were the only ones whom gave Argentina a run for their money, they will be the next "most talked about team" on this thread.
D2 - Lake Grove Blast. We played against both HBC teams as well as LG, and LG is a much stronger team
D3 - NPT/CH. These kids should have moved up with the other 3 teams into D2. Fast group of kids and they do not give up till the end. they will take D3
D4 - West Islip always produces some pretty good teams, this should be easy division for them.
D5 - D7. I hear the new Connequot team in D7 are all the kids from a team folded from Bohemia. Stony Brook teams are Academy teams so they are not going to be in the low divisions for long, and the new Lake Grove Team was all the kids who tried out for the LG A team and didnt make it, so they formed a B team. most of the kids on the new LG team from what i hear are from Middle Country and Sachem. They don't belong in D7 either they are a mix of all higher divisions. but other than that, D5 and D6 not even a guess on my part.

So the Division 2 team from NPT last season moved to D1 and then they mixed their team with some of the girls from the Division 3 team?? And took the D3 coach with them? That's going to be a pretty awesome team.

Pretty good predictions. I agree except for D3. If most of those kids went to the A team, then it will be a weaker team. I say DH Gold.
