No one said they weren't a nice team, they are. They are ten year old kids, how can they be anything else but a nice bunch of girls, very competitive. What was said was the guy who runs that league is an a*shole. That's all that was said. The girls are great, and for the most part so were the parents, some were a little too much, but again, for the most part the parents were very good as well. But to say that their best player left the team two seasons ago is not giving those current girls really any credit, those girls got the team to D2 without that "best player" so why that even needed to be said I am not sure. Most of the teams in D2 are home grown, to say that they are pulled from other towns is an excuse as to why they are beating your kids. I know our team has the same girls since U9, only adding one last Fall at tryouts, so making a general statement like that is wrong.

DH White seems to be absent from all the summer tournaments posted so far. Going out of state or just concentrating on training?

Rumor has it three players from SH Argentina quit and moved to DH and HBC teams. Guess there is trouble in paradise after all. It was bound to happen.

It is only a problem for SHA if the kids they picked up are much worse than these three kids and that remains to be seen but they did clean up the two problem parents so that is a huge positive [php][/php]

Did those three kids go to the HBC and DH U11 teams? Maybe their parents didn't want them playing on the bigger field yet. SH moved up to U12 this year. That was a bit much. Let kids be kids that trainer will burn those poor kids out before they are ready to. Those girls can range from 9 to 11. 9 year olds don't belong with 12 year olds. That's too much too soon.

In my mind the free training offer from Dix hills had more to do with picking up the two kids than any issues regarding the age difference or the trainer.

It's definitely incentive

The bigger incentive is to have your child train, learn soccer which is to play in a league on age instead of playing up, division 3. SHA coaches/trainer shot themselves in their soccer foot.

Lots of tired kids by the second game this weekend. You can tell which teams didn't touch a ball until August.
