I do believe:Standings are considered from the SPRING. Not the FALL regarding application to the Pres League

Lets try to move on...
Based on the assumption that HBC and EM move on and that Dix Hills is not fielding a team, is it as simple as leaving the remaining 7 teams in D1 (including NHP at 0-5-4 and Haup at 1-4-4) and bringing up Com Want and S Merrick? NHP had a -13 +/- but -7 of it came against HBC and EM so I guess you can make the case of leaving them in D1.
Overall, doing it this way that would make the league more competitive, but obviously not as strong.

The best in ENY are the best in ENY, regardless of where they come from.

How many ENY teams are in JAGS? One I think, Manhattan Santos. Makes sense since its one bridge or tunnel away.

Looked at Crush record last season in JAGS, since you asked us to. Not overly impressed. (6-4-6). 2 losses to Santos. LI teams can lose to Santos too.

LI teams also BEAT Santos often enough

North Rockland Rowdies used to be in JAGs as well?

ACCEPTANCE GUIDELINES:

• Teams can apply to the Premier League if they are a Division I team that has placed first or second in their division in the Spring of the prior program year.

That is more for the HS age teams who do not all play leagues in the fall. For the younger ages they take the fall into account. Especially at U12 since the Spring was 9v9.

It all depends on how many teams ENY decides to choose for the league; 6,8, 10. ENY has to be able to include the Northern clubs as well, regardless of the issue of competiveness of their leagues. If that's the case then assuming it's 6 clubs which 6 would you choose taking that into account.

Not sure of your definition of "often enough," but Santos was 10-2 vs. LI teams in 2011.

Santos is a great team that plays a nice style of football. My daughter's team has played them several times and it is always enjoyable to watch.

Before all the team bashing and slandering starts, simply wait about 10 days and the results will be posted.

A better question is who ISN'T going to the Manhattan Kickoff? Over 500 teams have applied and I was told that there are quite a few out of town teams coming besides NJ, CT, and PA. I am trying to find out which teams. Meanwhile the application deadline is Monday.
