They finished 5th and LIFC move to Nassau BEFORE the alignments. Therefore they move down one position to 6th and were placed in D2

Makes sense to me D1 looks, for the most part, pretty good from the top to the bottom. PW might be better off in D2. The only team that might have a long season is Haup, but maybe they added.

D2 also makes sense, but what happened to Farmingdale and Sachem?
Commack has their A1 and A2 team in the same division.

As for D3, the three strongest teams are probably the 3 new ones, the Brooklyn Team, the Mt sinai Team, and SH Argentina playing up.

Thoughts/comments?

Rumor has it Farmingdales coach got suspended from LIJSL so he took his team to another league. They were a strong d3 team at best anyway.

A coach in bad standing in one league is in bad standing in another league assuming both leagues are sanctioned. If the other league isntsanctioned then it doesnt mean [****].

D1 does look very good but the Nassau teams arent going to fare that well against the Suffolk teams (exception is Hauppague)
D2 will be a cakewalk for Commack cyclones
D3 Im wondering how this Argentina team will do. They are a talented team but dont have any size.....

D1 will be very competitive but will be a big adjustment on the bigger field and bigger goals. The kick an run teams on a smaller field will have to adjust. Who are the favorites?

Was the Farmingdale Fireballs coach really sanctioned? For what? Justified? What league did the team join? Is the team intact from last season or did girls join other clubs? How often do coaches get sanctioned?

Is anyone familiar with the upcoming ENYYSA ODP tryouts? Is this program really for elite level players? With the developmental program most players were chosen to participate. Does anyone know expected turnout and expected number of girls to be selected for 2000s? South. Thank you.

Sachem combined with BS Blaze to form Brentwood Blaze. This team along with Argentina and Mt. Sinai (former Sound Beach team) will dominate D3.

Can't tell you about expected turnout, but yes, it is for elite level players. Your daughter needs to stand out from the pack or she won't be selected. I've seen very talented players from premier levels teams not make the state ODP team.

State ODP is for elite level players? Are you [****] crazy? Who are you? Tim Blabberbury? Only Timmy would be capable of posing that bull [****] story. State ODP is for anyone stupid enough to buy into it. The last time State ODP was close to elite and enjoyed credibility I had a full head of hair.

The top 5 clearly better than the bottowm 5 with the exception of LIFC who is closer behind. The bottom 5 must first prove themselves playing 11 v. 11 on a bigger pitch with bigger goals and no kick and run.

No. I may be a good program for players who want to get started to be premier or elite, but that program along with hthe rest of the league's programs faltered and died years ago.

Look elsewhere with some of the many academy programs on the island.
