We will see if Levittown has there number. Let's not forget Syosset takes Levittown's coaches kids for tournaments and still cannot beat Elmont. Wonder if the Levittown parents know while there kids are home kicking rocks, the two coaches have there kids in tournaments, guess they don't think there team is good enough to compete in the tournaments. Some of those kids are being shortchanged by those coaches.

Third, fourth and fifth should be staying in D1. Hopefully, they do not make the same mistake they made coming into the Spring, and drop more than the bottom few from D1.

Currently. places 1 through 4 in NM are the 4 NM teams they finally kept from the Fall, and a number of teams they dropped from NM (Uniondale & Massapequa) are dominating lower divisions. They need to only relegate the few teams who are not competitive from each division.

Class has nothing to do with it. Your kid must be One who is "good" enough to be put in those tournaments. There is one or two of Levittown players that I would take anytime and NO it is not either one of those mighty coaches kids. You stay classy, as long as your son plays to hell with the rest of your team. Who is classy now?

It would seem that only GC and Uniondale have Elmont's number in LIJSL, since those are the only 2 teams to get results against them.

This verbage is so hilarious!! Elmont is a really good team & so is Levittown, but on any given day, any team can be beat! So let the kids play it out on the field and everyone will just have to accept the results! Remember parents, we are not playing soccer, our kids are so lets keep things in perspective.

Most parents do keep it in perspective and understand that soccer is about the kids. The point is that Syosset parents don't. They whine and complain at games and cry and make excuses when their kids team gets soundly beat. It is the parents and not the kids who are having a tough time with the fact that that a u10 team is not as good as they thought they were. Syosset should parents stop the nonsense, and enjoy the soccer.

Sorry but I do not agree with you. It is not clear if you are basing your comments on this forum or if you were a spectator at the elmont game. In fact, I actually don't believe most or all of the comments are even made by an actual syosset parent on this site. And the chance it was, it does not represent all the parents. If you were at the game, there is no justification as well. Refs are not perfect in any way and everyone is aware of that as you are. There will be mistakes made and while the passion is occasionally "displayed" smile on the sidelines, it is not an excuse or crying in any way. Elmont won the game by converting nearly all their opportunites and their defense cleared the ball extremely well. No excuses. I believe Syosset is a very good team (I am sure you think so as well if you watched them play a few games) and they are capable of beating anyone but they will lose games & the parents/kids do expect to lose games.

I think the two most interesting in SN this week should be:
So.Huntington vs. Sachem & No. Babylon vs. Dix Hills.
