That post about CP and Hicks was deliberate nonsense, hoping to distract everybody from these interesting questions:

Is this the Zagorski that coaches the HBC warriors.

If so what did he say?? I am curious. I know there are alot of Jewish players and parents who would like to know. Only facts

I do not know what upset the rest of you. This stuff went back a few years. He said two or three things. I guess that some people think this kind of talk is allright. He said Jews should not be on church teams. This was CYO Saint Elizabeths. CYO is Catholic Youth Rec and Travel Soccer.

Theother thing I think about is wht he said to another coach we were in the pakring lot. . It was about some parents late paying their kids fees. He pronounced the familys name to make fun somethingSTEIN or somethingBERG. With a wink wink face like you know what Im talking about, Those people hold on to their money.

How in the world does Bayport get into Region 1 over Mass?
Just looked at the Region 1 brackets. Bayport's record will be
0 wins 6 losses 1 tie
3 goals for 24 against.
They will wish the were back in nerp.

Just goes to show that the politics never end. There are four teams who are better than Bayport in this area. Unless Massapequa did not apply for Region1 they deserve the spot. Manhattan PSG also deserves the spot over Bayport as does NYSC White.
What a joke. They should be ashamed. Every tournament they play in together from Bethesda to Disney, bayport plays in lower divisions than Mass or Manhattan. Gotta assume that their trainers have some connections. Youth soccer at it's finest.

Out of the 10 teams that were in D1 last spring – 6 competed in the fall, 2 did not field (Smithtown & Sachem) and 2 are reported done (RVC & Newfield).

Bayport, who competed in D1 this fall, finished 5th in D2 during the spring season. Little Neck won D2 going undefeated with Lake Grove and Great Neck tying for 2nd with 19 points each (Lake Grove beat Great Neck so they should get the nod over them).

My best guess is that D1 will look like the following:

• Hicksville
• Jericho
• Carle Place
• Hemp Tigers
• Hemp Majico
• Deer Park – no fallout from a bad fall season
• Smithtown
• Sachem
• Little Neck
• Lake Grove

No teams move up from D2 from this Fall’s campaign – 3 teams tying for the division, not enough to promote.

Would not be surprised if Carle Place and/or Hicksville goes to the Presidents league opening an additional spot – next in line would be Great Neck and then Bayport.

I guess CP went to Presidents

pretty close
- BP
- Hemp T
- Hemp M
- JS
- Hicsv
- DP
- LG
- Smith
- LN
- GN

Rich Zagorski used to live up in Huntington Village off New York Avenue and that is where I know him from and guess what he always 'disliked' Jewish people. That is nothing new for him and it doesn't matter relevantly to being a coach. What are you going to do, ask LI Junior to give people 'Red Cards' for anti-Semetec thinking or commenting. You cannot ban somebody for what they are thinking.

State Cup our,

EI, HBC, Mass all in same box. tough draw

Bayport/DUSC could be good if both avoid upsets....

In a quirk of fate both MSC in same box, Both NYSC in same.

gotta love the random draw
