Is that St. Elizabeth's Parish on Wolff Hill Rd.?

Yes its the church and CYO club near St Anthony's

John P, due to the fact that you folded our team with NO notice and left a dozen kids high and dry from your own selfishness as our coach you are no one to come to anyone's defense. That is like OJ Simpson coming to the defense of Ted Bundy. No one takes it for any value.

you should not come to Rich Zagorski's defense anyway, because he was exactly your hatchet man against any and all kids on your team -- these were just 10 and 11 and 12 year old kids.

My problem with Zagorski which was the main complaint to the parish is his anti-Semitic comments. I am Polish American but my nieces and nephews are Jewish, with a Jewish mother. Zagorski is stupid enough to talk down about Jews when he thinks he is safe with Polish American Catholics. To me any one who lets Zagorski coach their kid is at risk of racist contamination. That is why we the parents made sure Zagorski knows he is not welcome at CYO.

Having seen 1000 games and all these teams here is what i would go with.

1 Mass Arsenal-Hate the way the play but just win baby, tip my hat
2 Cosmos DA, they are deep and good
3 Beachside-I know from CT but they really play in NY
4 Manhattan PSC- Talented and tough, thought they would beat Mass
5 NYSC- Up and down but can play with anyone
6 FCW DA- Lot's of turnover but a very good team
7 DUSC-Talented but cut below top 6
8 HBC-Still very good but not as tough as past years
8a Bayport-Impossible to score on, but in tough against top 6
10 NY Elite- Boys from up north can play a bit.

I have seen each of these teams over the years and all in the past 12 months as a ref and a parent. It is to the point on any given day any of the above can win. If you don't believe it take another pill...=)

Thanks, TopTenGuy -- that should be your new name -- this is a good start!

Has there been much player movement between the LI/metro NY teams at the premier level recently?

Players move teams, others develop at a different pace, but let's take a look at the last 4 State Cup winners in this age group (NY Only). BWG (now Cosmos), FCW, HBC, Mass Arsenal. Interesting? Your ratings are a bit suspect.

Is this the Zagorski that coaches the HBC warriors.

If so what did he say?? I am curious. I know there are alot of Jewish players and parents who would like to know. Only facts

No, I said what I meant. Although LIJSL does the Co-Champion thing we all know in reality the season is an extended tournament and we also know, there is no such thing as Co-Champs in any tourny. CP & Hicks tied in their only meeting so head to head goes out the window and CP had the least GA hence they are the Champions of Fall ball D1 this season. So I offer my congrats

YAWN again

Ok you shared division one,but anyone of them teams on that list and probably 5 10 more teams in east new york would hammer you, lijsl aint nothing like it used to be.

I don't understand the comment, all 4 made the list.......and if you look who beat who in the past year, and viewed many of the games, list makes sense. Opinions vary but it's not off in left field.
