The speed of the game is there. The girls can learn from this type of competition. Your child must play for some low division.
You with the insults again. Take a u17 girls premier team against any of the school teams you mention and the premier team will end up winning. Say and think what you want. The kids on a premier team are all at a premier level kids on a school team are mixed some prmier players and some LIJSL level players. And some kids that do not play soccer in a league at all. The trainers /coaches are ex players or coaches themselves not teachers. So think about it its common sense.

I disagree- our school team had all premier players in their starting line-up AND competed against many schools with all premier players in their line-up. (which happend to be many of the girls team mates). East Islip has the #1 player in the Nation on their school team and she does not turn her nose up at school ball.

This person is just living in another world. I don't believe anybody on this thread was or is turning there nose up on school ball.and leave personal players especially young girls out of your delusional state of mind

She has been a Premier & Select ODP level player since U12, following her own love of soccer & desire for competitive challenge.

That all being said, the timeless value of her HS Soccer experience will not be measured by the technical execution or quality of every goal or save in the games. She always brings her own individual level of play to the party, as do her classmates...and fortunately her HS Coaches are of the experienced & dedicated breed that know the game well enough to coach it. She absolutely loves the times she is sharing with her school squad! She totally gets that not every teammate or opponent is a College bound soccer player. She knows that not every goal or save or pass is going to be a 'beautiful' one, nor does it have to be! That IS the beauty of HS Soccer. The fact that her team was successful enough to get deep into their playoff bracket was completely appreciated by all! No need to pick apart the pros & cons of mixed abilities or level of play. This is about the memories the can only get by wearing those school colors with friends they've grown up with and playing a sport in front of their home town spectators! It's that simple. Wins, losses, ties, bus rides, team dinners & gatherings, wearing the jerseys in school on game days, being part of a group of classmates with a common purpose...these are moments all of the girls will own for a liftime!

AMEN!

Tired of hearing from this anti school ball retard. You must be a frustrated club coach or a parent who's kid warmed the bench. All I know is that the school ball was very fun to watch with a crowd at all the games I was at and the players really enjoyed it. Thats what matters. Take your BS complaint and tell it to someone who cares.

ABSOLUTELY!! Couldn't agree more! High school ball moments are memories these girls will remember long after their college days are over once they have hung up their cleats for good. Those who disagree are missing the entire point.

...and someday our wonderful young athletes will be sharing their memories with our grandchildren! Hopefully they won't have to leave out the parts about their crazy parents acting like malcontent sore-losers that were never satisfied with what they were seeing! Be wise & generous with the words you share today...they will be part of those memories someday!

Thank you ladies for a terrific HS Season, let nothing change your love & joy of the game...JASD!

You have taken fiction and inserted it with some facts whoever you are. Without going into detail, you list players on the first team that are not part of the selection and you list players on third and fourth teams that will be on the first team.
How foolish will you feel when you compare this bogus list with what in fact will be memorialized in Newsday in the next week.
