Here's more crazy stuff, just because they are playing LIJSL does not make this a big deal. There are a list of many teams who dominate in this league and then go off the Island and play teams that are just as good or even better and they do not even make it out of their bracket (see Albertson, Impact,Northport, etc.) Parents you need to get a grip and a big dose of reality. Have them play outside the safety net of Long Island and then you will see they are just little 9 year old girls who have no clue about soccer yet.

All of the above teams were super competitive at U10 and they are still competitive but no team is ordained to win the top division of a regional tournament. The current two best U10 teams are also not from clubs usually associated with premier teams so look for player movement in the future, whether that means ECLN or not is a different story.

Super competitive or competitive is a lot different than an earlier post who basically put them as a top flight team period and in fact said they can play 2 divisions higher and be competitive. The fact is that SHA were so full of themselves and how great they were and played a bunch of U-11 teams in the Spring. They found out that they are not the team they thought they were. But that has not deterred the coaches/trainers and parents who have drank the coaches kool aid. They still wanted to play up and now they are, playing U-12 Division 3. Be careful what you wish for Hicksville. Just because you dominate on the Island does not translate off it. Play teams from NJ, Rockland, Pennsylvania, NY and then you will have a better indication of where you stand.

I looked them up on GotSoccer and yes they have played in out of state tournaments and when they did, they played UP and still came in first place. Like Pocono Blast which they played in and got first playing up.

Pocono Blast is not a competitive tournament and if they didn't play up they would have wasted their time and money.

Shhhh, you are going to piss them off and they will get 10 on you! Your own club has EM in the second division of U10 while they put Hicks in the 1st division a year up. Does that say anything to you?
