Just trying to get a feel for some of the other teams in Nassau GU10. I've seen many of the teams, not all of them. I'm assuming that between most of the folks on this board we've seen all the teams.

RVC Avengers looked solid to me, no complaining that I saw (although there are always a few teams like that). Even if they were 'crybabies' I'd try and find a different way of saying it.

I don't know the teams that Carle Place played, so can't comment.

Would love to hear other opinions on other Nassau (and Suffolk) teams (NM-NR). There are always teams that start off a little rough that put it together and start playing better and better ball. Would love to hear about those teams, not that I don't enjoy reading about Hicksville smile.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Hicksville should hope that the coaches daughter doesn't leave. Look at SHB. They lost their goal scorer to Commack and they are no longer the dominant team they used to be. The indoor league they have been playing in are evidence of this. At this age, one player can make a big difference.

where would she go??

she is already playing with mostly above average players.

i would think that the hicks parents are motivated because very few are actually from hicks and most came from be solicited during roughrider sessions. motivated parents will drag their kids to anything the coach wants them to do and i am telling you that others will be lining up to try out this spring.

if you can't beat them, join them!

The coaches daughter will stay in Hicksville as long as her back holds up from carrying that team.

SHB did not loose a goal scorer to Commack, they lost a player to Commack. The scorers are still on the SHB team. The SHB team was just out played.Who is training Hicksville? You can tell they are being trained and being trained very well.
Hicksville is a good team with or without the coaches daughter. She just takes the team to another level.

Stop complaining about Brazil and Hicksville and find your daughters teams trainers.

Cry me a river. These two teams have dedicated girls. You can all cry that the parents make them do it. That is your ignorance, stupidity and the reason they keep getting better and most other teams are standing still!!!!!

This has to be someone promoting the Commack team as a winning team or her daddy!

Parents this is a U10 thread. Trust me when I tell you everything on everyone's team will change dramatically over the next few years. Enjoy your little ones playing on the field with their friends and leave the rest behind. They are babies for goodness sake. Come watch a U16 game and ask how many girls are still together with their original teams. Life goes on ... change is good hopefully most of the time. Enjoy your little ones as long as you can because they all change and grow and nothing will ever be the same. Enjoy!!
