There are no great programs or great coaches. HS teams are only as good as the collection of Club players that they inherit from the trainers and coaches who made them better players. HS coaches add no value.
Winter workouts and summer leagues are all illegal yet schools look the other way. They only care about winning and aren't interested in the players welfare, development or college chances.

Smithtown West over Commack by 2 goals minimum.
West Islip begins the journey with an easy win over Sachem East
East Islip in a physical game over Connetquot
Hauppauge over Sachem North 1-0 or 2-1
Kings Park over Longwood, but could go either way.
Northport - Whitman has upset written all over it but I am going with Northport by 1, but wouldn't be surprised if Whitman shocked them.

The question is, if you are not going to replace the old farts then who is? Guess it's easier to sit on the side and complain then to move into the arena and do something about a situation.

By the way, you do not start at the varsity level (the $122 per game you mentioned or $250,000 per year based upon a 40 hour work 52 week year) but at the JH level and attempt to work your way up (on ratings given by the coaches, whom, I assume, you also have little regard).
