Hard to beat a team three times. SS played better soccer so the result was right but Levittown played very hard and were 45 seconds away from a win before SS hit a 25 yd direct shot that was just awesome!.

Tough loss for them. Good luck to SS in the LI championship representing Nassau!

Wait- Northport had 2 losses this season against who? Lucky, maybe but awesome defense Melville! Shutout #13!

Soccer is a funny game, the better team doesn't always win, it's the team that plays the best on game day (but also the ones that have the ball go there way). Congratulations WM, you proved everyone wrong, and are now representing Suffolk County. All of Suffolk is behind you, best of luck. Another great HS playoff season is behind us, how many 1 goal games did we have this year during the playoffs...almost every game could have gone either way.

I know everyone talks about the difference between club and school soccer, but there is nothing like the emotions of one of these school games, just doesn't happen in club soccer. All I know is I am exhausted and now can't wait for next year, just hope my daughters team gets back into the dance, its truly a great experience.

Ward Melville players looked tired. They were chasing the ball all over the field.

Its just heartbreaking when a ref can make a call with 25 seconds left that was wrong and his own ar even says to the team that it was a bad call and was actually going to call it the other way.

The ref at the south side Levittown game should never ref again. He was terrible and blew the game. It was a great game but to make a call like that with 30 seconds left is very unfair.

It's sad when a ref can change an outcome of a game. The side ref at south sides game told division that he was calling the foul on south side and the head ref who made every call for south side made the wrong call and said the call was the worst he has ever seen. I. Hope they are not friends!!!

The goal division scored to get the game to 2-1 was from a very questionable call as well. Truth be told- Division scored off of 2 set pieces which is their trademark and SS scored 2 goal from combination play between some very skilled kids and one goal off a free kick.
Did the ref make some bad calls? yeah- he did. But both teams benefited from it- not just ss.
lose with grace.
