Where is Bayshore?

Bayshore is now Brentwood Pride and is not playing in the fall.

I can give you a quick NJ update: Pasco Strikers has moved to NJ Crush, basically to be the feeder team for the Dynamites, MLU is done, team disbanded as 7 of the players went to the New PDA SOuth Team, also 4 NJSA South players, 3 Jackson Pride Players, 3 Medford striker Players & 1 YMS player make up the new team. Obviously Medford & Jackson took big hits.

NJSA Blast have lost 3 or 4 players from last year team to PDA Arsenal, but the Blast also added to regional players who were playing up in that club.

Hey Cap'n- Good to see you here. Your info is timely as always. Hope your daughter landed in a good place in all the U13/U14 madness. Seems it happens every year to teams when they reach this age.

So, you ready for another year of this??

Zig

Thanks- you too as well as all the girls in our region. This should be a good year of development for all these talented soccer athletes.

Massapequa also applied for EDP League from NY, as did Brooklyn Patriots, Patriots FC (Now NY Rush). Seems top NY teams are looking to play more regional teams and expand their horizons. Good decision IMO

As for NJ, Crush FC look very strong, winning maps cup beating njsa blast 2-0 and njsa fusion along the way. Also won the bucks invitational yesterday beating pda 2-1

PDA will be very strong also, they have an enormous roster and some strong pick ups, but I am not sure the roster at the bottom end can really hang with their top 16, which begs the question why take an additional 8 players that don't really belong? Money? They beat bucks convincingly 3-0 yesterday and Brentwood 2-1 - good showing by the old Bayshore team

NJSA Blast, while they have lost a couple of big players and they have gone through a coaching change, they have picked up strong also from their older team - players playing up. Time will tell if they are the same force with all the changes, but i suspect these 3 teams are hard to separate.

Just beneath this group, you have an excellent njsa fusion team, that has so much speed and strength, they play a nice passing game. Tough to beat. although they lost some players to pda south, they also picked up very well and maintained their top players

PDA South (or Spurs as they are known), should be a strong team with some good additions, but may take some time to adjust. Will be interesting to see if they emerge better than the fusion, not quite top three I suspect

Winslow Tigers have re-emerged and brought back some of their players, including some of the better players from the Mt Laurel break up. They seem to be the same as before, although their poor style will be their un-doing. Just below PDA South and njsa fusion.

Then you have some solid teams like: NJ Crush Strikers, Watchung Hills, Americans, Holmdel, Mt Olive, Jersey Utd Spartans, South Jersey Barons. Each of these teams could get a result against the 3-5 ranked teams on their day.

Very deep State for sure. Good Luck all

Why is Commack Stampede in the 3rd flight at Covanta? Lots of competition for them there....

??? That makes no sense. They should be in the Covanta cup, but instead they put RVC Racers???

Curious to know if you know where the PDA Spurs girls came from, and which teams lost players to Winslow...

Where did bay port end up? They had a terrible debut in NERP last spring.

Bayport is looking very good from what I understand. Ronnie Alber took over the team at the end of the season and one of the parents on the team was telling me that they have been training 3 days per week. Added a few players as well.

Does it matter whether it is Ronnie Alber or Rob Banville? Why not practice 5 days a week. They will be an HBC team next year anyway

You cannot even compare the two. This is going to make it interesting in this age group. Ron has the ability and experience. Who will be the next team to collapse?
