Wow, you must have been waiting (for a long time) for LG to lose to be able to make stupid comments. They are ten, give them a break. All of a sudden they arent a good team because they lost one game in over a year? Shut up jackass I sincerelly hope that wasnt a comment from MC Club.

A thousand ties in 2 years doesn't necessarily make one a good team, a competitive one, yes.

In S1 we have a good match with the well trained MIA team and the super athletes of Smithtown. These two teams are close in points and goal difference so it should be a real contest that could decide third place in the S1 league table. The KP-Pride match will be a test for the ISA coaches to figure out how to contain the speed demons of KP and keep the score low enough to have a chance. There is no love for the KP coach but the kids play well and this will be a good test for both teams.

Farmingdale is back this week in N1 with Garden City who has picked up their game and has been playing more competitively this season while the Xtreme have been slipping making it a tight match. Both teams had good games last weekend and while GC looks better on paper Farmingdale will fight with their backs to the wall so another good match here. NHP- Albertson is also a big games as it will impact how the N1 league table finishes at the top. People have noted that Albertson is getting better but NHP seems to relish the big games so let’s see which team is more motivated.

Weekend Predictions?
N1
NHP 1:1 Alby
GC 2:1 Farm
Mass 3:0 VS
Merr 3:2 EM
POB 3:1 RVC
Alby 2:0 VS

S1
DH 5:1 NPT
Brent 2:1 CSH
KP 2:1 CommP
EI 3:0 CommR
HBC 2:2 Smith

HOW ABOUT FOR COMPARSION - MY PICKS

DH 4 - NPT 0

KP 4 - COM 1
EI 1 - COMM 1
HBC 2 Smith 1

almost the same picks, different scores.
Comm R is prime for an upset TIE/win

True test begins this to see where Albertson sits in N1 with games coming up against NHP, Merrick & Mass.

Predictions anyone? My guess is 0-2-1.

In my view Albertson is under pressure to do well as the club builds competitive teams through recruitment and it’s tough to attract top players if the team finishes in the middle of the league. While Mass, NHP and Merrick all hate to lose I don’t see their final placement having much impact on their rosters. The spring league along with the cups should feature some epic games as every team will need to show its best form for the summer recruitment period as they all need to pick up kids to play 11v11.

The Albertson team will go no where while it has a "daddy" coach. Not only is he clueless he's classless as well!!

You nave something personal going with the disparaging remarks as all teams on N1 have “daddy” or “mommy”coaches. We have played Albertson many times I don't share your view regarding the coach and the trainers handles their games anyway.

I don't know the Albertson Daddy coach you speak of therefore you may be correct. However, there is an underlying insinuation that all daddy coaches do not compare to paid trainers. Hogwash. I am a daddy coach. I don't get paid. I do it because I love it and because I want my kids to have fun AND be great soccer players. The teams I coach greatly benefit from my time with them and I'll put my coaching abilities up against any Paid trainer, any day, any time.
